hey, i just wondered how you can collect your points from online shops? I done a shop about 2 days ago and gained about 2000+ points (nearly bought the bvlagari perfume for another 1000 points but changed my mind!) .... so yes, I want my points now so i can get the s&g bits cheap lol! :(
done 2 bootsing trips yesterday (my first ever, and i feel hooked!) so that's 3 in 2 days. :( I messed up on my first trip, but I still got some really good purchases, so i'm happy. :D
Thanks to everyone for helping me out the last week!

when youve done your online shop, the points are added on after youve received delivery. You have to put tour card in the acm machine, where you et the additional offer tickets from, and it adds them there. you get a printout receipt as well

Sorry in advance, but, where the Heck do you input the extra points codes these days? Been a while since I ordered online!
    TIA

Although there is a box on the on-line order form, the 'new' system was rejecting the codes - really frustrating! I phoned up CS and was told to take the voucher back to the issuing store for the points to be added manually there  !! (totally incorrect advice, I hasten to add.)

I e-mailed a complaint and repeated my question as I could not believe the stupid CS woman, and was told that I should send CS the order details and all points would be added retrospectively on-line. They wanted:
    -name
    -address
    -date of order
    -total amount
    -advantage card number
    -order number
    -voucher code etc

Points took far longer to arrive at the ACM than usual but I did get them.

  • Had a bad first shop on ss tills yesterday :( Drove over half an hour to the shop with ss tills after oh finished work, got there with 10 mins til the shop shut as we got a little lost:eek: Thought id grab a drink and pantene to test using vouchers. Scanned the stuff and it was fine, wouldnt let me scan vouchers before pressing finish and pay! Then i scanned £2 pantene and put it in slot and it needed authorisation! Waited ages for someone to come over (oh went and got someone in the end) The woman said to the male sa that totals a bit low for all that? (only 2 x coke and 2 x pantene!) It was £2.49. I explained i used a £2 coupon and she said that was fine. Then i used 200 points pantene and it needed authorisation again! Male sa oked it but was too scared to use my £1 pantene coupon! Must be set up to need authorisation after every coupon :( They were shutting the ss tills down so we just went home :( (oh not very happy with me!)
Im so disappointed, ive got shedloads of good vouchers, £4/£5 olay x 4, 600 points olay x 3, £2/£1 pantene x 8!, 200 points pantene x 2, £5 wys £20 no 7 etc. All wasted now :( Had about 6 great transactions planned, spending approx £16 and getting nearly £60 in points! Would have really helped towards xmas as we're so skint and wanted the no 7 gwp for ohs birthday on the 9th. (and lusting after the r&m i writer and lip gloss for me:rotfl: )
    Ah well :(

GHD's are hair straighteners hun, don't be put off by my saga it was the computer cancelling things rather than the customer services dept they are usually really helpful like when i complained that my gwp didnt have an eyeshadow in and they gave me 1000 points and then i found out the gwp wasnt even supposed to have an eyeshadow in it doh lol xx
Boots emailed me back apologising and said it was a "technical issue with my order" They have offered me a code for 500 points if I spend £20 which is valid from "Monday 3rd October to Monday 10th October" So am wondering which year that will be as those dates have been and gone for this year :D Will try it with my next order anyhow.

Previous to getting that email, had already ordered this morning 3 R&M make up + different BP monitor to the one I ordered last week. Got 10% off with voucher mentioned earlier so that order came to £80.99 and got 320 points . Got extra 1000 points for spending over £50.
    Is that right?
Fingers crossed that order turns up next Wednesday

Oh that's such a shame hun *hugs* Those SS sound very evil indeed- I wonder if it wasn't registering that you'd put the voucher in the slot and that's why it was asking for authorisation

Is there any way you can get to your local Boots this afternoon- even without SS tills you could still build up a lot of points with little spend at manned tills if you can find a nice SA, even if you only use some of the pantene and Olay vouchers!

I would think they meant November as Monday's the 3rd!

If anyone manages to use a pinky on the half price Ruby and Millie set could they let me know.

I'm going to Meadowhall specially tonight but if I can't use the voucher I'll just get it from the website instead.

    Thanks!

I know how you feel, I also have to travel about 1/2 hour to SS tills and to be honest I never have a lot of luck with them.:(.

Why don't you try some of the transactions on the normal till, just pick your SA carefully ;) . Some love to see a bargain go through.
