I'm planning to buy an electric toothbrush today and a few other bit's. I've got both the electrical £5 off vouchers - do you think I need to spend £50 AFTER they've come off to qualify for the 1000 points? I'm still new to this but I'm guessing that the till has to recognise £50+ paid for the offer to kick in.

Im so out of touch with bootsing now!!
have only got £70 on my card.

Can anybody tell me if I can go into the store when this 1000 points promo is on and use my extra points coupons from the mailing and order large items from the catalogue , my store doesn't sell many large toys.

    Thank you :)

  • Sorry in advance, but, where the Heck do you input the extra points codes these days? Been a while since I ordered online!

Gocat, can I suggest you call customer services. Boots have been a right royal pain in the !!! for me this week.

Ordered GHD's and some Botanics Wipe's. £100.33 and 2900 points. Bargainous. Hmmm maybe not. I got a dispatch email, all ok. Then I got another one saying they had cancelled the GHD's as they were out of stock. :( I checked online and they still said in stock so I called customer services. I got passed through to a senior person who assured me that only £2.33 had been applied for and as the ghd's had been cancelled in error they would honour the points and I could reorder. So I did. This time I ordered an eyeliner I wanted and the GHD's totalling £101.49 and 2004 points. I think everything is fine then what should turn up but the first Boots order - containing GHD's!!! So I check my bank and they have applied for the full £100.33 even tho senior boss lady assured me only £2.33 gone, and then I think oh balls I don't want the second order and can't afford another £100 to come out of bank. So I call customer service who say there is nothing they can do about it. Luckily I was tired and fed up of ringing up so just said ok well I will refuse delivery then and they said ok you do that. Then I get an email telling me that the 2nd order has been despatched but that the GHD's have been cancelled off again. So there I am thinking !!!!!! not again, luckily I paid via paypal this time and having checked my emails and paypal have only been charged £3.49 which is the price of the eyeliner. Woohooo, and they are going to honour the points on the second order but its still been a load of hassle I could have done with out.

On a lighter note I just got a job with Body Shop and secondly I have had my eyelashes permed and tinted today so I feel pampered lol x

tell me about it i ordered 63 x 6 slimfast 21 each flavour, a mish mash of flavours come mainly 28 peach/mango and 4 short! so rng cs they said will send me 8 raspberry and 8 fruit forest - two packs raspberry turned up through the post now i dont know whats happenin so i have to wait see what else turns up - could be anything - i wud like the 16 x 6 they promised me cos they worth quite a bit - so far im two cases down and loads of one flavour im not 2 keen on - wish me luk
