I don't think I got an answer before on this: How to people prefer to pay on SS tills? Cash or credit/debit card? Does it go smoothly paying in cash, or should you stick to a credit card?
I've only used SS tills once but I used cash - it sort of sucked up a £10 note and then spat out the - correct!- change into a little chute. So I don't know how a credit card would work, but cash was very smooth.

its quite easy with cash so long as you can find the slot where the change comes out.. especially the notes! HTH0 -

Hi Skibster,
Ive tried both ways and had no problems with either.
You do have to patient though as the ss tills can be slow.

The Cambridge (Petty Cury) store now has the S&G skincare too. They also have the GWP by the normal range, but so far no sign to suggest it's a GWP.0 -
Thanks darling. Another honey wanting to join my chum list. LOL. Let me guess you live miles away in London or something like that. Just my luck! Glad I make you smile, you're a doll. *** I've got some of the ladies at work that constantly beg me to tell them about any bargains. I've stopped doing it now, I just say go to MSE, it's all on there. *** I don't know how I go about doing this, but I recently got some products from BOOTS, 3 x Sunsilk Brunette Conditioner and a pack of Pantene Restoratives Power Shot Treatment. I saw it on the 3 4 2 clearance they had on haircare. I have no idea why I got it in the first place. I should be banned from shopping. I just pick up and pay, get home and then think OH WHAT WILL I DO WITH THIS NOW? (Don't even start me on clothes shopping, I still have a brand new pair of Ghost shoes I got for £75 3 years ago, a see through black shirt (it's so not me, I can't show my body!) from Zara for £25 2 years ago, various items from Diesel, which I still have not touched. All brand new and in bags!) Anyway, the Sunsilk and Pantene, is there anyone local that wants it for FREE? It's cluttering up my room and I am coming close to binning them. Would rather someone took them off me and put them to use. All my friends at work got hordes of TS stuff for free when they had the TS glitch. PM me if you are in West Yorkshire and want it. Quite often in Leeds, you can pick it up from me there if you want. *** Can someone tell me what a R+M KAKUBU BRUSH is? It sounds kind of kinky. Could use my PINKIES to good use. LOL. *** I also have a few copies of the mens insert, the FCUK voucher and the blades or razor and what not. If anyone wants them, pm me! *** PS. Check out the new Mariah video, she looks so foxy and all glammed up! Go Mimi!! She is so my inspiration. Absolutely bonkers and doesn't give a cows bum what people think of her. That's the best way to be.

Prime example of a good laugh provided by Mimi...I needed it too after just watching 'The Restaurant'...Not happy with the result at all
The R&M brush thingy is for applying face powder/bronzer (I think) - I have a feeling you can also get these brushes for applying foundation too...
Thank you everyone for the R&M glitch explanation...must go check catalogue now...although Mr BTVB is getting fed up of me reading it in bed each night...DFW no.554 - Proud to be dealing with my debts :TDAVID TENNANT CAN PROBE ME WITH HIS SONIC SCREWDRIVER ANYTIME...:AFLYING THE FLAG FOR THE CAMBRIDGE BOOTS TARTS :happyhear0 -

I tried both, never had a prob with either. Although one time I put in £10 note and was getting over £5 change back, coins came out easily in the slot easily noticeable, but it took me a couple of sec to find the £5 note change, which is located under the scanner area. There was a notice from the machine telling me that, just never got registered.
Both are pretty straightforward
p.s. BTW it's so rare to see Skibster asks a question, most of the time you are just too busy answering others' questions :rotfl:0 -

I prefer not to pay haha! If clever enough with vouchers this can happen. However, when I have got to pay for something I always do it on debit card but this is simply so that I can make believe that I'm not really spending money!!!! Have seen people using cash and it looks simple enough. Hope that helps.
