Mimi
Have you seen any of the FCUK weekend kits on your travels in Leeds? On the hunt for one after dark_666_angel sent me the 1/2 price voucher. Not found any in Rotherham yet, but I work in Leeds so could try one there. Going to try Meadowhall tomorrow too.0 -
Mimi, I think we all get carried away in the heat of the moment when Bootsing and 'aquire' things we don't need just 'cos they are a bargain. Then you get home and wonder what on earth you bothered for, Mr B etc isn't daft and 50p in his till is better than 0p and a product in the bin. My mum came home with 2 TS mousse things for 50p today but am gonna send her back as I don't even use Mousse . As you don't have a receipt maybe you could donate them to a refuge/mission etc as they might be putting parcels together for the needy at Christmas
. Hope you don't think I'm butting in
.
Your posts always make me laugh too btw

Sorry OT,
Does anyone know if the new style PC vouchers scan as follows - £1 off pampers Newborn/Changing Mat/ active fit on any pampers IYSWIM as I'm too chicken to try. I did managed to get a pack of easy up's free as on offer at £3.99, used £1 off pampers (Boots PC, 3 diff barcode and £1 off active fit PC) Shows on receipt as brand coupon, so £1.01 more and I'd have got a Pinky. Used a manned till and no AC

The other thing you can get, almost free, with one pinkie or one ts is No7 Younger Longer time resisting hand cream. It's reduced to £5.13 so with pinkie/ts you pay just 13p. No7 SA very helpful when I asked for it.
Great find! Where is the No7 Younger Longer time resisting hand cream located in the store? Was the clearance price marked?0 -

I don't think I got an answer before on this: How do people prefer to pay on SS tills? Cash or credit/debit card? Does it go smoothly paying in cash, or should you stick to a credit card?0
-
I tried using the SS tills for the first time, it was so exciting...I managed to use the pinkie for a R&M mirror with 3 4 2 BUT when I tried again to get 342 on the R&M mirrors with a pinkie and TS i had no luck. What did I do wrong?minimoneyme wrote: »Yes, that would work ie: 3x mirror =£18, then 342 =£12 then pinkie then ts £2 to pay.
To make sure the SA scans it first either hand it to her or prepare your basket with the mirror on top. Personally I would add a few other items, as the SA might be a bit shocked at the £1/£2 total and take another look at your vouchers. Alos make it over £5 and get another pinkie/ts :j0 -
Belfast boots have the S&G skincare range in now, its over beside the sanctuary skincare and time delay range. There are no GWP's beside them though there are loads over with the normal S&G range. Has anyone managed to get the GWP with the skincare stuff yet?
I also noticed a lovely skincare gift set containing:
*Facial Scrub £7.99
http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10052&productId=641363&callingViewName=&langId=-1&catalogId=11051
*Face wipes £3.99
http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10052&productId=641352&callingViewName=&langId=-1&catalogId=11051
*Day moisturiser £9.99
http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10052&productId=641377&callingViewName=&langId=-1&catalogId=11051
The set was £20, so its a £2 saving compared to buying the items individually and would be a good way to try the range out. x:starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0
