I notice a lot of people talking about being scared to use the SS tills and just wanted to share my experiences. My local Boots fitted these in the summer which I was thrilled about as had read so much about them. I was desperate to try them out and now only ever use them. As I was in the store within the first week they were fitted there, there was a SA to help on each till and so I took advantage of this. My recommendation is to try to do a bog standard transaction the very first time you try and just ask lots of questions of the SA who is there such as "so what would I do if I had a voucher for this" or "so how would I pay with points" and get them to talk you through the whole process as it takes a couple of tries to get used to them. They are brilliant though as you can do some transactions that an SA might not "allow" and quite often you can find till spits that people haven't taken as they don't realise they exist and have just walked off once they've got their receipt. I've also used them to price check things before. If I do this, I normally make the SA who is there aware of the fact that I am about to do this as once you've checked the prices and then "removed" all the items again, an SA needs to sort of verify this with a little swipe card they have. I checked and the Bootster in question iwas online today at 6pm ish so there really is no excuse. I would have kindly sent the vouchers if she had said that she didnt have anything to swap for but I think it so wrong and terribly rude to agree to something and then just ignore PM's...

Lets just say its left a awful taste in my mouth...

Im sure I have done that too.. it is easy to get sidetracked.. TBH I am not bothered about thanks, but it is nice to know that things arrived safely just my two~penneth worth!

RM (Royal Mail not Ruby and Millie) have let me down (i think) so badly this past week, waiting for an ebay purchase to arrive and a couple of swaps. Never had a bad swap (fingers crossed) and always try to PM swappee when arrived but things seem to take forever atm

I saw it on the 3 4 2 clearance they had on haircare. I have no idea why I got it in the first place. I should be banned from shopping. I just pick up and pay, get home and then think OH WHAT WILL I DO WITH THIS NOW? (Don't even start me on clothes shopping, I still have a brand new pair of Ghost shoes I got for £75 3 years ago, a see through black shirt (it's so not me, I can't show my body!) from Zara for £25 2 years ago, various items from Diesel, which I still have not touched. All brand new and in bags!) Anyway, the Sunsilk and Pantene, is there anyone local that wants it for FREE? It's cluttering up my room and I am coming close to binning them. Would rather someone took them off me and put them to use. All my friends at work got hordes of TS stuff for free when they had the TS glitch. PM me if you are in West Yorkshire and want it. I recently swapped some stuff with 2 ladies on here. Both sent them 1st class, but received one 3 days later. I thought one of the ladies had ripped me off, but she hadn't. Just got to be patient love. Hope you get them soon, in the meantime, here is a hug just for you (HUG) :rolleyes:

The kabuki brush is sooo cute and in a lovely red case, I'm geting one this weekend its for putting on body shimmer stuff or powder foundation ( I think!). Seems to work on the 342 pinkie ts glitch
