SOrry to hear you were so upset. Could you not go upstairs and ask them to shut up?...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
I have just sent an email to the local housing office so fingers crossed.0

Thanks it looks like neighbours are causing huge problems around the country. I just want to get away from these now. Unfortunately my house is semi - detached so we are joined on to theirs. I have found a few detached houses in the area for the same rent we are paying here and this would be so much better for my daughter. She has got to the stage now where she sits there listening and waiting for the noise to start.0

No. I can't ask people things because it never turns out right. And she moves next week (seen the advert) and I've passed messages to the LL to get a !!!!!!!' carpet fitted (must have one it says in the lease I am told). Have to see. I think it might go up for sale (again), as two agents were up there measuring up last week, in which case it'll be empty for monthsneverdespairgirl wrote: »SOrry to hear you were so upset. Re PasturesNew
There have been a couple of threads recently on laminate flooring, nows the time to complain, if it's being sold, as the vendor would have to declare any disputes, if it gets that far, or you'll be stuck with new owners who won't be any quieter, and may not relish spending on new carpets.

I have just read another thread that was talking about credit checks when renting another house. I have very bad credit at the moment. Is there any way round this or will I be stuck here forever?0
