Someone holding one or more Tesco Personal Finance products.0 -
I opened one of these accounts last year (they ran a similar offer) and never got around to putting the money in in time so it's been empty ever since. I think the account still exists, though.
Does anyone know if I put the money in now I will get the points as part of this promotion?0 -

Do you think it's worth phoning them to see? Any experience of Tesco Personal Finance and how likely they are to do this for me?0 -
tesco didnt cut the interest based on the last 0.5 cut and left it at 6.5, do you think they will still leave it as this now the base has been cut by a further 1.5 (ie will they continue paying 3.5 above interest rate whilst people are in their bonsus period?
also who long has it taken people to get their card reader? i was just wondering as i have ordered mine today, and it said 15 days, is it really taking this long?MFW#105 - 2015 Overpaid £8095 / 2016 Overpaid £6983.24 / 2017 Overpaid £3583.12 / 2018 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2019 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2020 Overpaid £2583.12/ 2021 overpaid £1506.82 /2022 Overpaid £2975.28 / 2023 Overpaid £2677.30 / 2024 Overpaid £2173.61 Total OP since mortgage started in 2015 = £37,286.86 2025 MFW target £1700, payments to date at April 2025 - £1712.07..0 -
About the card readers:
I am an existing TPF customer, considering opening an Internet account.
I already have one of their card readers for use with my existing Instant Access account.
I also have an (apparently) identical reader issued to me by NatWest, which like TPF is part of the RBS group.
Please does anyone know if these readers will work with Tesco's Internet account - or will I have to apply for another reader?0 -
I've decided to bail-out. Tesco's 0800 number was permanently engaged when I tried calling to find out why they were taking so long to open my account and when I finally did receive the letter acknowledging the opening of the account and then read the rigmarole Tesco insists on to get the account up and running, I decided to write and tell them not to bother.
I'll lend my money instead to someone who seems to want it!0 -

i was tempted to do that too, now that its sorted (excluding the fact i havent got the card reader yet) i am hoping that running the account wont be as difficult as it was setting it upMFW#105 - 2015 Overpaid £8095 / 2016 Overpaid £6983.24 / 2017 Overpaid £3583.12 / 2018 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2019 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2020 Overpaid £2583.12/ 2021 overpaid £1506.82 /2022 Overpaid £2975.28 / 2023 Overpaid £2677.30 / 2024 Overpaid £2173.61 Total OP since mortgage started in 2015 = £37,286.86 2025 MFW target £1700, payments to date at April 2025 - £1712.07..0
