So you can have it with Sky but not with Virgin, bizarre Merry! I got refused when I jacked in Sky and went to Virgin, I was having a nightmare with BB and fed up of being off line for weeks on end, and being on phone to India for hours trying to sort it out.

However my mum put it all in her name, as she lives with us.

On the freeview box, yes but you have to have an aerial and we are not allowed one outside, my mum bought one and then about 4 indoor aerials all to no avail.

I also agree Merry we said the other day that we added Sky sports and is costing us an extra £20 a month, but we dont go out, we dont eat steaks for dinner and both adore tennis, and we wanted to watch it, and Eurosport were not showing all the games.

For me it is really our only extravagance, son needs BB for homework, I need it to run my sites, mum has it as well, but I did buy a router so only one bill for the BB.

Sorry you are having to start all over again on this Merry.

    Take care.

    RL

Hiya RL. It's a strange one - I know some people who think that Sky, etc are a waste of time, but will happily drink £50 on a Friday night and not understand when I say I don't drink, etc  Everyone has their own 'vice' I suppose, and as long as they are prepared to pay for it, then no one should complain. But that's JMHO

I agree with your opinion Merry, people gamble, drink, smoke and then have a go at people who want to sit and enjoy their TV.. does not make sense to me.

I drink and smoke but I go no where to work and back that is it.. oh and the damn shopping trip. I consider I spend little to nothing on clothes, am not a spendaholic so why should I not enjoy my tennis, ice skating and HOUSE great programme love the guy and the gang. It is not a VICE it is something I consider a luxury yes but I have few others.. smoking is not a pleasure it is a bad bad habit.. drink is lager or a couple of glasses of wine. and not down the pub either.

You have people with pets I have NONE.. so sorry you keep your pleasure and your girls, it is about balance they are not eating beans on toast are they for you to satisfy your pleasure of watching TV!
