Kaupthing BACS/CHAPS transfers on 20th Oct or later

I know there is an official thread for the transfers that are still floating about in the ether but that seems to be only for transfers initiated around the 7/8/9 October.

Is there a thread anywhere for people who initiated BACS or CHAPS transfers yesterday (October 20th) and who haven't received the same day CHAPS transfer into their account like they should have done? I've had a search but can't seem to find one.

I'm very happy to hear people are at last seeing their money into their accounts after what has been a very long and worrying wait since early October, but I wouldn't want those who have just started off a transfer of funds this week and haven't received them correctly to be forgotten in all of this.

My son's CHAPS transfer from KE into his Lloyds account didn't materialise yesterday like it should have done. I did a BACS transfer of a much smaller amount yesterday as well so will have to see if it appears in my linked account by Weds/Thurs. Somehow I don't think it will :mad:

The email from ING last week said you can operate your account as normal, nothing will change. Clearly they were lying!

Dont think it will make much difference if you do it by chaps or bacs as they are seemingly still working through the backlog. I did a bacs yesterday, Il let you know when/if it arrives!

Looks like there`s still a backlog and any new transfers are not being carried out either.

I submitted a BACS transaction yesterday for some of the money as I have bought a car. In theory it should be here either tomorrow or Thursday as it looks like a lot of the backlog has now been cleared down.

I initiated a CHAPS transfer from my Kaupthing Edge account at 9:30 am on Monday 20/10/08. I'll let you know if and when it arrives.

I'm still waiting for a CHAPS transfer initiated very early morning on Monday 20th.
Just checked A&L receiving account and no joy.

Seems like the CHAPS are a problem even now.
I will try a BACS on Monday because it`s too late today to get it before the weekend.
Hopefully,Monday should arrive by WEDNESDAY.

I spoke to KE today about a chaps I tried to send from the 17th. They said it would be taken out of my account tomorrow and put in my nominated bank account Friday.. We shall see!
