The boxes are a 'mare to get hold of. I ordered some from the net but the order was cancelled for some reason. I managed to get bags from Lakeland which will do for some stuff.
I have this in my favourite places, http://www.cakecraftshop.co.uk/shop/3/27/405/index.htm but not sure whether this is the company which cancelled on me, you could check with them for stock.
This is a great site for moulds, bags and foil wraps, they deliver quickly and prices are good. http://www.cakescookiesandcraftsshop.co.uk/

This is a Nigella receipe which is quite rich but really scrummy.

I have also made it with hazelnut butter and made it in individual foil cases which was a bit fiddley but looked great.
Another quick and easy one is for mint chocolate. Mix peppermint flavoring with demera sugar and then put this in melted chocolate. The mixture is then either put into moulds or little foil cases.

does anyone have any ideas for what filling to pop into chocolate cases? I'd like to make something with a centre and then seal with a chocolate top but have no idea what.

Try truffle flavoured with a liquer. The minature bottles of liquers are great for different flavours.
I made Blackcurrent vodka last year with frozen blackcurrents and then used them in homemade chocs.
How about soaking dried cranberries in brandy.

I love honeycomb and it is easy to make with only a few ingredients required.
A good recipe can be found at:

To give to friends I wrap a small bundle in a sheet of cellophane and tie with a thin ribbon. It looks good and tastes good too.Hoping this year is better than the last.0 -

I did this last year for my fiance's family (4 sisters, mum and dad). I was having a huge dilemma about what to get them, so I made a load of different types of truffles, made some origami boxes decorated with ribbons etc, and they went down a storm - so much so that I'm doing it again this year. One of my favourite things I made was dried strawberries dipped in melted white chocolate. The strawberries were quite expensive, but you only need 3 or 4 for a really decent sized chocolate. And they're really easy to do. I also made dried cherries wrapped in marzipan and then half dipped in dark chocolate. Yummy!0
