Thanks.
Sounds like lots of people are having a grotty time. I'm just trying to come to terms with disappointment, I was (am?) desperate to get to sub £10K debt by end of the year, and I feel that life is stacked against me on that. This week's financial casualties are DS new bike which went back to the shop yesterday after an accident... fortunately the lorry missed him  and the bike last night (ok I am counting blessings there), and cooker has given up completely.
I need to do a couple of additional hours (paid work) today and I seem to have lost [strike]all [/strike]any motivation and am finding it v hard to even get started.

I'm off out to see Charlie. I've been waiting for the Royal Mail van to come with Charlie's portrait on it. The artist sent it first class yesterday and I don't want it to be sent back to the depot with me going away. I think I'll leave a note on the door in case it is due to come today, they are usually ok about leaving stuff by the back door.

Burlesque_Babe wrote: »certainly did Maz. The girl who likes his son DID give them a lift home, he was back surprisingly early - just after 11 - the concert was due to finish at 10.40. Apparently he said to her they wanted to have a drink but she wouldn't as she didn't feel dressed up enough to go into a bar. I thought - good for you girl
