what a nose dive the year is taking for so many DFW'ers

I'm having an increasingly lazy day. I've got the day booked off and originally today was going to be 'clean house from top to bottom in case burgled when on holiday'...........don't want them drawing abuse in the dust on the TV screen!!

However, all I've managed to achieve is have a shower, wash hair, put some towels in the machine and make the bed. I didn't even get out of bed until the DJ was saying.........and it's 19 minutes to 10........I never stay in bed that late!!

I laid out most of the clothes last night I want to pack and I have a list.
Need to book the taxi today, we need to leave 3ish or so tomorrow, just need to check the flight times.

certainly did Maz. The girl who likes his son DID give them a lift home, he was back surprisingly early - just after 11 - the concert was due to finish at 10.40. Apparently he said to her they wanted to have a drink but she wouldn't as she didn't feel dressed up enough to go into a bar. I thought - good for you girl

I was glad I didn't go. The top he was wearing was saturated with sweat (bleurgh) as they had been literally at the front. He said everyone was really pinned in and if one jumped or swayed, everyone jumped or swayed. He said his elbows were really hurting as he had had to keep them up to stop getting completely squashed!!!

Taxi booked each way Starting to feel a bit excited now, although I wish I could miraculously lose at least 5 stone overnight!

Got a cold coming on I think, all achy, sore eyes, sore throat etc, and everyone is getting on my nerves - half the people in the office are talking about the Christmas night out :rolleyes: and I've got someone allegedly 'helping' me with some work who is just making more work and asking stupid questions.. grr.
