Survived my first 'official' party last wednesday. I got a bit tongue tied and missed out bits of the presentation so I wasn't very happy with myself and the orders were ok (had 10 people but orders came in under £200) and I wanted to get 2 bookings as my friend had a party in November and could qualifyfor a rebooking gift.:(
However... One of my work collegues called me over to book a party, then I noticed that another lady had marked she'd like to have a party on her order form so I was very happy. I didn't think I did a very good hostess pitch. I ended up with 4 bookings! 2 for Feb and 2 in March.:j
So I can't have been that bad or else everyone took pity on me lol.
Was so inspired I sent off my Conference booking form. At least I will have parties up to March and I am planning on a birthday partylite party for April.Growing old is mandatory:

Just looking for tips about getting bookings really!Savings target! £6000 by May 2015

Hello...SO update time...
1st Party... ended up with 14 guests instead of 25, but that was good as I don't think she could have fit anymore in! I'm so pleased with how it went, especially considering everyone's broke! did just under £200 pounds so my hostess got the global ambience hurricane she wanted! everyone was really pleased and said how good it was!
Can't wait for my next one's now!
Thanks for all your kind words x:j0 -
My advice would be to go to your training sesions - I went to my first regional training last night and they did a mock party with the new kit, hostess coaching and 2 by 2 calls (calling guests after the show, checking everything is ok and trying to get some booking/sponsoring leads). It was really good.
Also make sure you are telling guests what benefits a hostess gets and what your hostess is getting free/reduced. And have fun! I think the best consultants are the ones who enjoy themselves as it comes across to the guests.:j
If anyone has any other ways of getting bookings please share as I need to get another 17 parties to pay for conference and my accommodation!:eek:Growing old is mandatory:
