Donna - busy busy busy - building my team so they are strong for next year, quite a few new starts so obv getting them on the orad to success!
How is leadership coming on?I get paid to party!:rotfl:0 -
Getting there. New starter show just gone in, another on 14th, hoping to get a NI sponsor next week and if all my girls do their £400 then it should all come together. I think I read that if you gain U/L or R/L on Dec 1st you still get the leader box so that would be good!! Really busy party wise so can't complain!!Murphy's No More Pies Club Member No. 680

Hi All
I am wondering if someone can help me. I have just signed up for PL and to be honest im worried now. I have a show in my own house on 28th Nov which is the earliest i can get family & friends to commit, but my leader is been very unhelpful and insisting i need to do one next week on a weekday but due to peoples commitments ect they wont come.
So do i just pack up & give up now or do i wait till the 28th??
I have sent loads of info, invites ect trying to drum up intrest in hosting a show but not sure where else i can advertise.
Any help would be fantasticLet us realize that the privilege to work is a gift, that power to work is a blessing, that love of work is success.0 -

i am sorry to hear this, this isn't how an upline/leader should be behaving! Do you already have your starter kit etc. Your leader is their support and guide you but not bully you! This isn't th way you should be treated.0 -

You need to be firm with your leader . This is YOUR business not hers and she should be doing everything she can to support what you want to do . With your first " business month" you get the rest of the month you started on and then the following month , but PL only guarantee orders up til 16th Dec to be there before christmas ,( so if you start on the 28th you will only get 28th Nov -16th Dec as your first business month ) so starting earlier will give you more chance of earning more in your first month and therefore more time to bonus and earn an extra 5% . Ultimately the choice is yours , but if you can't manage one sooner than the 28th , then you need to be firm about what you want to do . There is no rule to say that you have to do a certain number of partys , you choose when and how often you work , but by having say 6 parties in your first business month will get you off to a really big start and increase your liklihood of getting more bookings into next year. From 1st January there will be a new catalogue out and many of the items in your kit will be discontinued , so you might want to consider starting in January when the new catalogue starts0 -
Not much talk on here recently, where is everyone? Are we all busy?
Everything is absolutely manic , having so many emails inviting us to do stalls etc as well as people wanting partys ( things seem much easier than last year , as they are coming to us more rather than the other way around) We have double booked a lot and hopefully will pass some on to the team. Double booking is sometimes a good thing because if you get a cancellation or party move you can still get to do the other one thats booked . We have a new starter in Oct and also two new starters who want to start in January , so fingers crossed it goes well. I can't believe there is only a few weeks left until christmas then we can take a well earned rest for a couple of weeks. We love this business but sometimes it can be quite stressful0 -
Thanks for all the replies. Yes i already have the kit & now worried as i was told that the stuff in the kit would still be available next year. I carnt send my kit back now but also cannot afford to replace it all next year.Let us realize that the privilege to work is a gift, that power to work is a blessing, that love of work is success.0

Last year a few of the pieces were replaced by PartyLite and the older stuff you had to give back , but I think this was only for people who started in December0 -
Hi all
Got a hopeful charity event coming up in a function room at a pub! I have no idea how to tackle this ... How do I do a charity event? What do others do? It will be various tables etc jewellery, and I will not be able to do a demonstration and I cannot buy stock as I cannot afford to do so!!
Any ideas would be great!!
