Sunsette, glad you enjoyed it!! Some of us are too far away from our official groups so can't attend but I do miss the meetings etc and totally agree - if you can get to one then go!!!!

I am a long way from my official meetings but have been luckily taken under someone else wings....I think this is something to remember when sponsering people. Although we can sponsor all over the country what will you do regarding the training, if you or your sponsers cant get to training you need to make extra sure you are there to support them every step of the way, i think it can get lonely sometimes.

    Hi Hannah
You might want to try using hostess necklaces to get bookings . It's a really good way to get people interested in having a show . Another way is to offer to bring a FREE bottle of wine ( say its for the first 10 hostess's only and a limited offer )to the party. P.M me and I will let you have the details . Remember ( as we are all frequently told) sales are Silver , but bookings are Gold . You need to be looking to get at least two bookings from every party that you do . That way if one or two cancel , your business will still continue and you shouldn't run out of Partys

I've never heard of hostess necklace. Can you explain please?

The free bottle of wine will definatly work, Esp as I can get a deal on cases in work at the mo :D What was the idea of hostess necklaces?? I have a friend who makes jewellery??
Have a beauty salon opposite so asked the manager if I can put flyers etc in there today and I've also very cheekily arranged a box of votives so there open and smelling lovely so people can see the quality etc, and have another booking of the nail technician, so thats 8 at the mo before ive even got my starter party!!!:D

Have to go to Rochdale for my maid of honours engagement do in November so will try and get some bookings there (its about 40mins from me) Does anyone currently work that area????? Dont want to go pinching bookings etc.

Ohh and dropped of lots of catalougues in the schools explaining if the teachers purchased up to £165 of products collectively and and booked at least 1 party (also clearing the £165) they could get vouchers and products to use towards fundraising.... Know that 3 of the 4 I dropped of to will definatly spend that much as I know a few of the teachers there....

In all its been a busy day;)

Ohh and I'm loving partylite even before the starter party... Thanks xxx

Has gone to play on her own little world for a bit..... but its ok the voices in her head came too so she's not alone ;)

Well Done you, you are doing really FAB!!

Dont worry about whether anyone works the area, you will always find different people....one of the fab things I find with Partylite, and if they do already have a consultant they will tell you.

My "manager" appeared on my doorstep saying that they werent putting my orders through because they weren't enough. They also weren't going to invest a starter kit in me if I couldn't give them sale (which btw I could! I had 2 other parties booked) So in other words sacked.

    Cheeky - I have PM'd you

Nikki I have replied to your PM im quite disgusted by the way you have been treated, am eager to sort this out for you, as this is not the reputation Partylite should or normally have. Let me assure you this is not the way you should have been treated and wouldnt have been my many other people.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Sorry, this is a bit of a whinge! :o

I'm seriously considering giving up - all I'm doing is spending money and not getting bookings. TBH I think I've lost faith in the products and I can't justify to people why they cost what they do. Everyone I've spoken to just says they're too busy and don't want the hassle of parties, and frankly neither do I anymore.

    Very fed up.
