  • Thanks Cheeky841!!

That's made me feel slightly better, and just had a similar message from my leader!! I'm just so worried!! I am only 23 and don't have children, so i am limited on that side of aquaintances!! I will go nuts and go mental with my invitations and catalogues!!

Had a couple of good leads for parties from FaceBook, which is great!! It's just very stressful doing my own party!! I think people are cancelling because they are poor at the moment!!

My "manager" appeared on my doorstep saying that they werent putting my orders through because they weren't enough. They also weren't going to invest a starter kit in me if I couldn't give them sale (which btw I could! I had 2 other parties booked) So in other words sacked.

    Cheeky - I have PM'd you
I am very sorry this happened to you, and must be someone I know as you are in my area.

I am more than happy to help you, as I feel you have been treated badly and never ever heard of this being done before.

Even if you do not feel like joining , I would love to do your parties for you and give you something for it, just let me know.
    I get paid to party!:rotfl:

I think you've hit the nail on the head there - I'm not the person to be doing this. Training doesn't work for me - I just get home and lose enthusiasm. TBH, my priorities have changed recently and whilst I like the products, I really don't think it's the right thing for me anymore.
Liz - you have other priorities at the moment, so maybe now is not the best time for you to put time into this.

Why not have yourself a well earned break and see if anything happens along the way!

Good luck and I hope it all works out for you!

The people who are cancelling because of money, then they are ideal people you should be talking to, to have their own parties as they will get lots of free products, especially in November when they will get 25% commission instead of 15%.

ideal time for them to do their xmas shopping, hassle free in their own home and even better costs nothing!!!!

    Hiya Candlegirl!!

I have my friend Meg, who, bless her, is18 and really wants to join but is gonna wait til she's driving in a couple of months! She is helping me so much and is going to ask some of her neighbours and put a coupld of adds up in her local shop!!

I will be on the case of targeting everyone for parties and joining after my party on thursday!! I can then say how well (hopefully) my first party went and how cool it would be if they joined up!!

Spoke to my mum who has been inviting people for me :) feeling much better about thursday now!! My other friend meg has said that when she has finished moving she will have a party at her house as she cant make it on Thursday :)

    Thank you all x x

Good luck, you will be fine. I was the same last week with my starter party but had 7 there and got £200 in sales to start me off.

I really like that idea, Thanks :D,

Amanda I love the iddea of hosting a party in the "local", mine does events etc but I'd never thought about doing partylite there.... soooo guess I'm off to the pub later today, <any excuse!>

Yeah the local pub does sound like a good idea, might try that one as well. I am so grateful for everyone sharing their ideas on here, its making me feel more confident as other people are having sucess.

    Thanks

    Amanda

Sounds Good Amanda , but offer the consultant opportunity too( you could combine it with a "take a look at PartyLite" and get a starter kit there) and I would suggest you advertise the event on Netmums, Gum tree , facebook , local shops etc

    Will do this, thanks x

If your friends are cancelling cos of lack of money , maybe they would be interested in the job . Why not ask them to come along ( even if they don't spend ) to see what you are doing and how they can earn some money for christmas . If you sponser someone in your first three months you will get gift certificates and can use this to buy in extra items for your kit or tealights which you will be using in your demonstration anyway . Also if you decide later on that you want to become a leader it will get you off to a good start .
  • Hi all . Ive just discovered an amazing PartyLite forum from america . Unlike the U.K partyLite consultants here, over there they have a forum that they access through partylite.com , however before they could do this they used this site . It's a great site for new consultants and leaders alike . There is some amazing ideas on how to sponser , book parties , party games etc etc . There are only a few people from the U.K on there Take a look and see what you think
