I spend around Three Pounds to Four Pounds a day on lunch.
We have a Sandiwch van that comes round to our industrial Park, it is very expensive and you get very little for your money and it is not to a very high standard, but we all seem to still go out to it.......ummm maybe this would make me stop.0 -
Less than £1,
I get a pasty from ASDA: 50p
A pack of 4 'Dunking Cookies': 50p (which tend to last a few days)
and then I drink water! Great value, zero effort!0 -
I reckon I spend between £1.50 and £2 per day on ingredients for my yummie packed lunch. So let's say £1.75.

some days around a £1.50 and two days a week around £3 - get home from work and walk out the door straight away sometimes
Would love to be able to spend less!0 -
I don't work (yet - roll on January!), but have to make 3 pack lunches for two DDs and DH, probably works out around £3-4 a day for all three of them and they are not full of junk foods.

I just joined Weight Watchers a few weeks ago so am being very careful with what I shovel in! As everything is home made and fresh at the moment it can range from about £1 - £3. £1 on the days I make a homemade soup and have fruit and bread; and for the days I'm treating myself to king prawn salad it can be nearer to the £3 mark. Now that the tomatoes I grew this year are on their last legs I'll probably be spending a bit more too!
To help save us a bit I started a tea club in work and we contribute £1 per person per week, it works brilliantly! We get milk, tea, coffee and biscuits (best brands!) and it's used at least 3 times per day by everyone. We are very good to ourselves as we even have chocolate bars (not me of course, well not at the minute anyway!). When we have a surplus of funds we have free weeks - particularly around Christmas and new year months. Give it a try, helps save a bit at lunchtime too!0 -
At a guess it costs about £2.50Penny Pinching Pauline0

I spend on average £2 per day on lunch (either a sandwich or jacket potato) which makes no sense as I could make a sandwich or a jacket potato for less (we have a fridge and microwave.
My resolution is: To use the facilities provided at work and save money on my lunch!0
