  • When I have lunch it's about £4.50 a day, this set up looks like it could save 500 notes a year

  • I usually make it myself, so less than £1. If I forget, £2.99 from Boots :)

:T Every little helps to save money to pay our over-priced energy bills! Besides, curry tastes better in a flask on day 2!
  • I have to stick to a very strict diet for health reasons (ulcerative colitis) so now I can't eat most 'ready-prepared' food in cafes, shops and so on I have to make it all at home! It has worked out much cheaper, probably about £3 at the most each day, but is so time-consuming!
  • probably about £1 monday - thursday but a special treat on a friday - the sandwich shop!
  • usually try to take something from home, if not between £1.00-£3.00
  • I always take a packed lunch and I reckon it cost me about £1.25 most days.
  • I bring my own packed lunch to work so it costs about £1 a day on average. Sometimes lunch is free when it is sponsored by a visiting company trying to tempt us to use their products.:money:

I would say we spend between 50p-£1 per person with 50p being the average price... I do 2 pack-ups 5 days a week and 18 lunches at home a week - we usually have leftovers or HM soup/sandwiches with a piece of fruit and a piece of cake for those who want :)
