I take homemade sarnies, some fruit and sometimes some other bits and bobs but it probably costs me less than £1.50 per day.

I often take in left overs and occaisionally sandwiches. Also been eating pears from trees in my garden. I'd be suprised if it was more that 50p.

How's this then - not only am I saving ALL the cost of my take-to-work lunches, I'm saving about £20 a week in petrol too. How? I've been signed off work sick by the doc for 3 weeks! But then again, when you add in the (exhorbitant) prescription charges, petrol to the hospital and hospital parking charges... and a take-away curry for the kids the night I really wasn't up to cooking... Oh well, maybe I'm not saving after all...

Probably works out about 50p a day. I make up my roll, fruit and there is a water dispenser at work

probably less than £1 normally, as cook in bulk, then freeze extra portions for days can't be bothered, and for snacks and lunches.
weekly bake with homemade cake fantastic as a relatively healthy snack during the week.
need more tuperware, and a food flask to keep food warm. my vacuum flask finally broke last month after years of trusty service.

I guess it would be about £2.50 on days when I eat in the canteen at work, or about £1 if I tak a packed lunch.

Dustbin here ...which means I eat any left overs in the fridge....which makes for some strange concoctions....so a maximum of 50p I would think

My lunch usually cost me about £2.50 a day from the subsidised canteen so £12.50 a week.

It varies but I usually eat food from home to keep down costs so on average I would guess about £1.00 per day. Would love a free lunch pack!:rotfl:
