I think I spend about £1 or £2 a day on lunch. I always make my own even when i have no food in, which can often lead to some strange lunch combinations!!0

I spend less than a pound, I give my husband a packed lunch: a portion of what I cooked the day before for my lunch, or leftover from previous meals I froze the week before, always cook extra portions for this reason. Running out of containers now!;)0

Usually, the kids take pack up of a sandwich each and a piece of fruit and 'healthy' cereal bar. I generally take a flask of home made soup (BNS) and some cut up fruit in a tupperware container.
I guess we average £3 a day for the three of us.
I am glad not to have the temptation of a sandwich bar or canteen.0 -
I eat at home most days, so it's leftovers usually. If I meet my daughter for lunch, we might go to Pret a Manger or pick up a M&S sandwich and drinks @ £10.00 - so £5.00 each. Packed lunches for secondary school are a misery to make as the students have barely any time to eat so don't want fiddly things or yoghurts with cutlery involved and can be super sensitive to (perceived) peer criticism.0

Usually about £1 a day if I am at home and about £4 if I ever get taken out to lunch!0
