If I'm not using leftovers, I have a salad made up of the following (all organic if possible, generally from the farm shop, but have estimated using more expensive supermarket prices where I can't remember the cost)

    60g wholewheat pasta - 10p
    home-sprouted beans - less than 1p (one pack @1.40 does a month)
    15g sunflower seeds - 4p
    Tomato - 15p
    Cucumber - 10p
    Lettuce - 20p
    Radishes - 20p

with either egg - 30p or cottage cheese 50p

Obviously this is MUCH cheaper in the summer!

lunches at the mo are very frugal for me- so I would guesstimate about 20p

usually cream crackers or homemade bread with homemade hummous or soup

Usually leftover last-night's-tea! Must be around 50p per day, or less if I choose beans on toast (yum!).
