I try to make sandwiches every day, made from last night's leftovers.
However, I sometimes buy a takeaway and make sure I have some leftover for my evening meal.0 -
Ooh can I have one please, fingers crossed.
I normally spend between nothing and £5 on my lunch.
The containers will be useful for taking my sandwiches in.0 -
I spend approx £10

I reckon around £2.50 and that's me bringing from home - milk, sandwiches and fruit. If I buy a sandwich or filled baked potato then around £2.70, with no milk or fruit included0

First posting - so here goes!....
About £1.50 ish, depending how sweet my tooth is!:j0 -
I take well filled sandwiches made with 2 slices of home made bread filled with a slice of thin ham, tuna mayo or egg mayo+ tomato, cucumber and lettuce. I also usually take some berries (in season) and a piece of fruit.
I don't think my sandwiches cost me any more than a £1 - probably less. Certainly less than prepacked sandwiches (and I know what I'm putting in my bread and sandwiches) Berries push up the price though, supermarket ones especially being way over-priced.
It is expensive to eat healthily in Scotland in the winter!0 -
I spend about £1.00 - £2.00 a day - Prepare my own salads per working day & cut up some fruit such as melon or pineapple and put this in a seperate container as a nice dessert - healthy & cheap option
:T0 -
Would love the freebie....I spend a whopping £3.00 per day maybe a little more throughout the day whilst in work
Just imagine a new set of tupperware set to encourage and start saving by taking sandwhiches to work and making a huge saving :T0 -
Thanks - I guess about £1.50 a day - either own prepared salad & jacket pot or homemade soup & bread.0
