  • How much do you think you spend on lunch every day?

i'd say about £3......... more or less...depending on how much (if at all) i've prepared, although i must say, a lunchbox may save me loads! ;)
  • I probably spend about 70p - usually stew from all the leftovers at the end o f the week.
  • I usually take sanwiches and drinks with me for my daughter and myself so I spend a pound or 2 for fillings and the drinks.

  • Well, I may as well join in the posting on here!

I tend to do home lunches 3 or 4 times a week, and eat out for lunch the other 4 or 3 times a week (usually 4/3 respectively). On the home lunch days I don't spend more than about 70p, the eating out lunches probably average around £3.50.

So it averages out at £1.90 a day, over a week.

    That's pretty terrifying. Heh.

About £4.50. Wetherspoons is tasty :P
  • I don't have to pay for a lunch during the week, because I work at a Daycare Nursery [Asquith] and they encourage the staff to share a meal with the children at lunch time, to encourage the children and staff to socialize and bond. Our cook does excellent meals and we are really lucky. At the weekend we often skip lunch, particularly as we enjoy a large breakfast.
However my daughter is not so fortunate, and at London prices she really needs a way of taking home-made food into work [so If I should win a pack, it will go to a derserving cause] :A
  • My lunch costs about £1.50 or less, sandwiches from home and crisps, sometimes a tin of mackerel in sunflower oil mmmmmm....:D
  • I work at home and have 2 small children so I normally don't get chance to eat anything between breakfast and our evening meal.
  • I'm spending way too much for my budget - about £2 to £2.50 a day (if I'm out). Maybe I should eat less...
