I spen £5 on packed lunch for me and my daughter0

Mine varies, often it's lefovers so it's a lot less than 50p I'm sure. If I make a sandwich to take with me it's more like 80p.Piglet

:money: Newbie!!!! Hi
I buy Bulk shopping every fornight and cater for cooking batches of dinner portions and luch for the week ahead then freeze them. Saves time during my weeks evenings and loads of money. a good thing about the bad weather in this season is i get to cozy up with a fresh bowl of homemade soup any night i choose mmmmmm. i think i spend less than £1.00 per day on lunch.0 -
lately I have been bringing in salads, mostly using my home grown tomatoes & spring onions. But still pay out for the lettuce etc. The days I get up too late to prepare my lunch I get from the work canteen. All that taken into account I probably spend around £20 a week.0

I always make my own.... so... under £1 (except, now I'm pregnant and sometimes CRAVE bacon butties... so occasionally I pay £1.90 for the best bacon sarnie on the market - well odne 'Brunches'!)0

If I am home then leftover fridge raid - what's leftover from 2 kids and 1 hubbie's lunchbox makings ?... Otherwise lunch with mum - she's paying, thank you.0

About £1.20 (cup a soup and four or five various fruits):T0

Ooh yes please! I end up spending about £2 a day on average - our work canteen is subsidised, but it's still costing me more than it should!0
