    'Bout £1 I think
  • I work from home so am able to have cheap lunches..usually a sarnie, tinned soup or left overs from the night before! This can't be much more than 50p-£1 per day..
My kids take a packed lunch to school..usually a pitta bread/sarnie, yoghurt, piece of fruit and either crisps or treat (choc biscuit/cereal bar or similar) and a carton drink..this must be similar price of 50p-£1 each.
My hubby also takes a pack up of either homemade salad or leftovers! Again, this can't be much more than 50p per day.
Hey, last of the big spenders!!!!
  • I usually spend around £1 - £2 as I make my own food and then take it to work. That way I know what I'm getting and it's far cheaper. Some day's it's £0 as I take leftovers to re-heat.
  • Im a SAHM so dont spend anything on my lunch as such. However 3 of my children who are at school have packed lunches so probably spend in total of about £3 ish a day for them. Thats a huge difference if they took school dinners it would cost £5.40 altogether per day . Oh, and OH takes his lunch from home too!
  • About 50p if I make my own soup or sandwich, up to about £3.50 for a shop-bought offering
  • I spend very little on lunch as I always take a packed lunch but my husband and son between them spend about £5.00 daily on lunches so this message is for their benefit.
