  • About £5 a day
  • £1.20 is tops for me. Planning is key and using the freezer makes bargain buys so handy for lunches.
  • I always use yesterday's dinner leftovers for lunch so this kit would be ideal, especially on days when I'm working in our 3 acres of woodland.
  • I normally spend about £1 on my lunch. I bring in my own lunch so works out to about £1 a go.
  • approx 3 - 5 pounds a day at work, sometimes more if we go out to eat.
  • I spend about 50 pence a day on lunch! Would love this for my student husband!
  • I spend about a pound a day (packed lunch), and keep a jar of coffee and mug in my desk so I don't have to pay for hot drinks (hot water from the vending machine is free).

The amount I spend on lunch is definitely the silver lining to most of my colleagues having been made redundant earlier this year - the pub lunches have more or less come to an end now I have no friends!

  • i bring my own to work, cost around £1-2 depends on what i cook but it is mostly rice meal (steam rice and a meat or veg dish) which i always have warmish at work. thanks to the microwave
  • About 50p-£1 normally I guess (home-made sandwiches using home-made bread, and some fruit from an organic veg box), rising to £2.50-£3ish if I have to buy lunch at work.
