About £1.50 if I bring in leftovers and some fruit & a packet of Ready Salted. Probably the same if i bring in sarnies. If i go to the bakers, it will be around £3 - £4. If I choose from the 2 canteens at work i can be ripped off to about £5 or above for c**p food.0

I spend about 60p a week on the bread, £1 on a few slices of meat, 50p on a lettuce, £1 on apples and about £1 on biscuits/chocolates. So, about 80/90p-ish a day?0

My husband makes me my packed lunch everyday (whilst I do his ironing so a fair trade!). So I guess my lunch each comes to about £1.50.0

I remember when I didn't think nothing of spending £3-£4 on a bought sandwich and a yogurt, but now it's definately a case of 'make your own' sandwich, salad, or now the weather is getting colder - a baked and filled potato, tub of chilli, casserole etc to heat in the microwave. This costs no more than £1.50.0
