  • I have justed signed up. My last quartely calls charge with BT was £5.01 with Rental of £30. I can reduce my calls even further to accommadate for the inclusive £4.50 worth of free calls and thus slashed my Rental in half! :money:
We use the Wifes Mobile contract (all free calls except premium rate) to make all calls barr the premium rate. RThis will work for us.

When i phooned they were most helpful, calculating your usual call usage and costs. They wont sign you over if they think you will not benefit! :T
  • So for those who make regular calls, its probably not worth it? The line rental might be cheper but the call costs go up?

And 0845/0870 numbers are not included in the inclusive calls!

    Cheers, Des.

I take it all other calls would be at the normal BT prices, presuming it's not less than 10p/min? Would calls to mobiles be the same?

It's not designed for people who regularly make lots of calls. Where's the confusion?

If your phone is there for people to contact you or just for an ADSL connection it's a bargain.

If you want to call around and chinwag to your friends and family then choose a different tariff.
  • i have just sent a complaint to bt as there is nowhere that they help people on disability living allowance who often need the phones as a lifeline, but they will help people who dont need it as a neccesity (obviously not the pensioners, they should have it)

I totally agree with you Sian, I have just had a rather rude response from BT after I asked why they don't include people on DLA/Incapacity Benefit etc.
She basically laughed at me, and made out like I was some sort of a beggar or something.
  • What happens if you use a BT payment card to pay your bills, will it still cost the same £4.50/month or be more?

    That's terrible. :(
  • What a cheek !.....Why should people on benifits get cheap BT.
Dont they get enough already. What about all the hard working tax payers.
Next it will be free food and fuel....in fact i think they do.
Think i might leave the country, come back with a different passport and claim the lot !
I wont go on any more, this makes me so angry.
