I sent it to Lukester on friday but we ummed and ahhed and thought it was a bit false due to the title being about (still) lost money and i had just received mine. little miss cataballo made it on despit this tho! lol!

Think I've got mine today too although on my online statement it says ADVICE CONFIRMS in front of the amount which I've never seen on my statement before - any idea what this means? i did CHAPS only last friday night (panicked before details of ING injection released!) and even at lunchtime today my bank couldn't see anything coming in but now it's showing??

I am pleased to see people still joining this forum. Pleased is the wrong word actually as I wish there was no need for this forum, but what I mean is I think people have been quietly reading the posts and then deciding to join in.

Greetings all from Chris. First post on this Forum. After months of KE being a best buy in both Which? Money and on Money Saving Expert.com, I finally took the plunge and opened a KE savings account 3 weeks ago. Looking back, could not have chosen a worse time. I managed to get 15K into my KE account before the events of 8th Oct. All went through fine. However 2x BACS transfers of 10K each made from my LloydsTSB linked account on 7th & 8th Oct are STILL MISSING as of today 22nd October and are not showing on my KE balance. Have phoned KE cust services virtually every day since finding out about the KE problems on 9th Oct and kicking myself ever since that I did these transfers then. If only I'd known BEFORE rather than after.
I have asked Lloyds TSB to run a trace on these BACS payments and reclaim them back into my LLoydsTSB account if possible but I fear it may now be too late and my 20K is lost in cyberspace - most of my life savings over many years of hard slog. You can only imagine the sleepless nights I'm having with worry about this whole situation at the moment.
I've done hundreds of BACS transactions over the years and this is the first time I've ever had a problem and money has disappeared into thin air.
I'm not worried about the 15K already in KE as its covered by the various schemes but the 20K still in limbo is a huge worry.
When the dust finally settles I'll probably move the lot back into LLoydsTSB again.

Wonder if anyone else has tried to transfer money IN to KE at this time before they know about KE collapse?
