Glad For You Noreenoms,made Transfer On Sat 18th In Today 22nd Amazing, As I Understand It From Here People Made A Transfer 6/10 Still Waiting, Mine 7/10 Like A Lot Of Others To Still Waiting.

I checked my account with Kaupthing Edge this afternoon and my account is now closed.Just have to keep my fingers crossed that the 35k is back in my halifax account tomorrow.Will report back!

Therefore I conclude that the dearth of information from ING which has been so annoying and frustrating for us all wasn't just due to the "exceptonal circumstances" as I kept being told ,but also because of the stupid way ING had set up the mechanisms to deal with the problem and pass on information (or rather not pass it on) Was it beyond the wit of somebody at this multi million corporation to have middlemen passing key information between depts and forwarding urgent messages for prioritisation? In my case I lost out on a house purchase because the money delayed was to be the deposit and when it didn't materialise the mortgage provider considered me in default and cancelled the deal...one urgent message to the penpushers doing the transfers could have sorted this..all I got was "Sorry sir but that dept isn't customer facing....pathetic"
