Xbox 360 Stock availability updates

Anyone know when Argos are getting their next large shipment of Xbox 360's, particularily the Premium packs?

ysday i had a phone call and emails from comet to confirm delivery of an xbox 360!! this was after them tellin me last week a day after ordering online that they were all gone! i then ordered off argos so it seems as of next week ill be the owner of 2 xbox 360s! whats best to do? try cancel 1? wait and see if i deffo get any? or sell 1 on ebay ? ive posted on i wana do it board cos if i do sell 1 id want to include the receipt in for guarantee purposes but waht about my card details on the receipt?

ha all this for me 29 yr old b/f!!!!!!

I maybe in the same boat - I originally pre-ordered with Asda (still outstanding) and got let down so I then managed to order from Comet (the package with the hard drive) over a week ago and was supposed to have delivery Tues 6th - but they then told me the order couldn't be delivered because my address details had been deleted from the order.

I've since desperately ordered (the core system) from Play, Sendit and Argos - with all being temp.out of stock on re-order - although the Argos one is supposed to be delivered Tues - but after reading all the confilicting notes on this I won't believe it until I see it - although both Argos & Comet took money from my account on Friday - Argos say the delivery will be here on Monday and Comet can't comment! at the moment - they are looking into the matter!!! with an email to tell me that they 'do have record on the internal system of how much has been taken so please do not worry about lost monies'!!!!- it's as though having £360 taken from your bank account is nothing to worry about.

I'm just hoping one will be delivered and I can then cancel all the others - although should two be delivered before I can do this I'll just send back the dearest system (unless of course I know someone who needs this).

Whats funny is that microsoft want to win japan.

And if you go on the japan amazon website, the currency coversion of what they sell the premium console package for is only £179.

Thats £100 less!

Importers sell the japan console for arounf £250 though, but that also if a premium pack, and does play current games in england.

A Japanese machine will not run PAL or US region coded games, only multiregion games which currently stands at:

Call of Duty 2
Condemned
Gun
Quake 4
Ridge Racer 6 (US VERSION)
Tony Hawks : American Wasteland

... and of course JPN region coded games.
