me too I am worried about the quality but it is only 11 euros, if its bad then it will be my hen do veil instead! I was going to make one but if its ok i wonlt bother - i'll let you know when it arrives

Just a warning to you all but its possible Landy's going to get a whole lot busier soon, her name, website and prices were mentioned in the News of the World magazine today in an article about budget weddings... better get our orders in quick!

Haha I read that and mentioned to h2b the exact same thing!! I seriously need someone to give me a very hard kick up the bum and go and try some dresses on and start making some decisions on what I want;)

Ok I have ordered my dress from Landy. (Although Landy and Milly ARE the same "company"! I had chosen Landy and emailed them and they then send me a link to a dress I liked on Milly's and said they could make that for me.

Changed my mind tried one on in my local shop that was gorgeous but £1,400 and I wasn't going to pay that for a dress!!

So I emailed landy the picture's of it from their website and they said they can make it for me from pictures. http://www.forgetmenotdesigns.co.uk/naomi.html

I have to say I am totally petrified!!

They said it will take 75 days to make and my wedding is on the 11th September. So it should be here by then but what if I don't like it and i'm left with 2 weeks to find another dress! *Shudder* Maybe I should order a second one just incase? Total cost of my dress and postage is £220!

Anyone know if its just 75 days or is it 75 working days? If it's working days I think i'm !!!!!!ed ...

Hi Rebekah,

I based all of mine on working days, however saying that I had an email on the 5th May to say they were starting work on mine and it was posted out last week and arrived at customs on friday :eek: I think they are at their busiest time at the moment anyway. I should also mention that they are making my wedding dress and 3 bridesmaid dresses.

Were you quoted 75 days also? Looks like i'm totally !!!!!!ed then!! I shall go and look for another dress also. Damn why did I agree to get married so bleeding early!

I've been reading these forums for a while and trying to read up as much as I can about Milly and Landy and I think I will go with one of them but I dont know which!

Anyone read the comments at the bottom - particularly the one by 'Anette' - Harsh!

She does have a slight point (I don't think the jacket matches that dress, it hides all the beautiful detail), but she put it across rather nastily
