Has anyone got a Landybridal swatch they no longer need. I have checked ebay but found nothing. Im getting married in Pink but need to match the same pink as my flowers etc. I have checked the swatch image but so many pinks and i want a true baby pink.

    thanx

Viewing this thread as my DD has just got engaged:)

Can't you buy a swatch direct from them?

Its not actually that easy to get one off Landy, they don't seem to like sending them, and when they do they charge £20 plus P&P!

  • I think it looks amazing. I love the lace on it. I wouldn't worry too much as you've only got the photos to go on and those never show how good a thing looks in really life. and if it looks that nice in these photos think about how great it will look when youve got it. Wait until it arrives and you can feel the material and see the details for yourself. How much was it, if you dont mind me asking?

I received an email from landy saying my dress from them will be finished at the end of the month, I cant wait its only a couple of weeks away!

I would advise anyone ordering from Landy to ensure that you take figures for the 'taken in - squished by your corset' measurements and not your normal figure measurements.
My fabulous dressmaker had to take 2 inches off either seam so that the dress wouldn't droop, sag and look like a potato sack half an hour after I put it on.

She also added, boning in the sides and along the stays to give the dress a better line.
I might add also that my dressmaker said that the quality was fine and that I could not ave even purchased the material for the dress for the price I paid for it!

I also ordered 2 metres of the same fabric my dress was made in...just in case there was anything wrong with the dress, or it needed repairing - it cost me £5, but I've used it to create the boys cravatts!

Getting married nnext Friday, so will post some pics when I get back online...and IF I can find a decent pic of me anywhere! :P lol

I am getting married 16th July next year and have chosen my wedding dress which set me back £800, but I have lost 2 stone and intend to lose another 2 by the wedding and as I have spent my whole life feeling fat and ugly I feel I deserve to feel good for just one day so the money is worth it. in order to counteract this I want to get my bridesmaid dresses off Landy but am I reading it right? are the prices in euros or in pounds? either way it is very cheap and I have heard nothing but good thinngs about them, just hoping someone would be able to clarify for me xxx

The prices are in Euros on their website, and in Pounds on their ebay shop. HTH

I am not getting married, but I have loved reading these threads and looking at all the beautiful gowns, so thanks everyone for posting the pictures.
I'm going on a posh cruise in a few months time and need some evening dresses, so yesterday I took the plunge and ordered a dress from the Landy website. The price was 91 Euros including postage. I can't wait for it to arrive.
It's this one http://www.landybridal.com/pic/08141517.jpg but I am having it with an ivory bodice and a black skirt.
