Best bet is to email them with a picture of the dress and ask if they will make it for you. If they use to make it then I am sure they will. I hope you can remember how much they were selling it for. Hth

Edit: I've just order my dress with them that wasn't on the site. I emailed them pictures of the dress I wanted and they replied saying they could do it at 'best quailty' for 250euro.
Prob should have waited til after their new year but never mind, the wedding is over a year away :)

Ohhh this thread brings back happy memories....:grinheart

svjenni - you look gorgeous in your dress, they have made a fantastic job by the looks of it.

Can't believe it's a year since I was trawling through loads of posts on here trying to decide which dress to buy. I was a 'Landy girl' and was more than happy with my purchase and the way my dress turned out. Even now when my daughter sees the wedding pictures she points and says 'look Mummy, there's you in your princess dress!' :rotfl:

Just wanted to wish luck to everyone still going through the decision making and ordering process :):):)

    Thanks louise :)

Just an update - I received a customs bill from DHL - it was a tenner! (Landy gave me a £15 discount and DHL express delivery for ordering lots)

I'm still happy- the £10 is nothing to what I saved overall

  • I'm really tempted to use landy but how did you ladies get the correct measurements.

Did you go and get measured professionally or self measured?

  • my husband measured me, and i didn't have to make any alterations. I did have a lace up back, just incase i needed to loosen or tighten the dress:)

  • I wish I had got a friend or my fiance to measure me, as the lady I paid said i need to take a couple of inches off if it is a corset dress. Now I literally have nightmares about the dress being too tight, as it didnt sit properly without a corset. So yes, as long as you aren't measuring too tightly you will be fine!
  • Has anyone got a Landybridal swatch they no longer need. I have checked ebay but found nothing. Im getting married in Pink but need to match the same pink as my flowers etc. I have checked the swatch image but so many pinks and i want a true baby pink.

    thanx
  • Hey Sapphire,

Have a look at the May 2010 thread, there's a pic of my daughters dress on there. Its number 15 on Landy's chart and it really is the softest blush/baby pink ever!

  • Then no, Sapphire (in response to your pm), no 15 is definately a soft nude/blush pink. (its gorgeous though, this is what my DD's new dress is being made in as well as its SOOOO nice!)
From memory (and I studied the swatch for days!) No 2 is definately more of a beige, no 5 is more of a dusky rose pink, very similar to those dresses that have been in Debenhams the last couple of years.
No 10 and No 42 I cant remember that well, but one is definately more of a candy pink than the other (no 10 probably?)
61 is more of a cooler pink on the website...can remember anything more about it in the flesh - sorry!

Hope you get sorted, sorry if I've confused you even more!
