Afternoon
DS3 being really naughty today
Been to town, banged my knee on the car door and it is really sore
No flying done but I am nearly there with the energy thing. I have all the data I need now just need OH to help me with the final figures and then decide how to switch (cashback site or OH quidco)The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
It's freezing, I've got a jumper on, sat under my sofa throw and I've just lit the coal fire. Brrrr
Took girls out earlier to get them togged out in jumpers, fleeeces and coats. Went straight to matalan and then £87.00 later, 2 warm coats, 10 various fleeces jackets and cardigan type things and a few tops, we were done.
I just had no inclination to go into town and walk round loads of shops looking for bargains, lost my shopping mojo, plus I'm tired and cold.
One DD has gone to stay overnight with her friend. :T
If the other hurries up tidying her room she can booger off too and be let off her last day of being grounded early.
Right made some dough for bread rolls, going to stick in my Remoska in a bit.
One load out of washer, one load in.
Tea is sorted as is tomorrows roast, all ready to go via slowcooker and remoska.
Going to chill and watch the never ending story 2 which is about to start any minute now.
Catch you all in a bit.:DDFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

:hello:
Afternoon all, well all my great intentions of flying went out of the window yesterday. I went to work feeling a little deflated. Then i get home to find my brother childrens here. He is not here but stranded in scotland but we had no idea and i was panicking he had, had an accident in the wagon. So dodgy sleep last night. Finally got a call from him this morning at 10:30 he was almost blown off a cliff so had to park up asap!
The kids loved it, we made a makeshift bed on the floor for them and they were all asleep for 9:30pm.
So far today i have done little bits but as soon as the gremlin wakes upi am going to get real serious and get that upstairs cleaned. Boys bedroom is getting completely emptied out dusted and cleaned everywhere.
Same in dd's room.
Then if there is time my room, but thats nto too bad so i can do it tomorrow.
Ironing didn't get done but will be tonight, whilst i catch up on Dexter still on season 2! Or house season 5?? not sure which yet
I know what i want to do but not made my list yet as its gonna be a biggy so much for chilling out this weekend!!!
Pigpen just seen what happened when you went to OT, the stuff that some of them come out with astounds me. My bessie mate, well her son has apsergers, i mentioned this to you. They said maybe to go and kick a wall or punch the air, run and find a hiding spot etc. He took their advice far better than his mum and the amount damage limitation the school have had to do purely because he was bullied after this. His mum has not known anyone with this issue so had no one to talk to but now she has taken better control and has gained a real strength of character and listens but doesn't alway take their advice!
It also doesn't help that when he flew off, the children would run around shouting red alert. My friend obviously had no idea and the teacher never informed her, it was actually another mum whose dd was in the class and she felt sorry for him! Apparently the teacher was very red faced especially after he had been diagnosed and had to give a written apology! Personally i would have caved her head into the nearest wall.
Right i think i am going to have a potter around downstairs and tidy up a little until little one wakes up, its untidy again!!! How dare i sit down.:rolleyes:You can touch the dust but please don't write in it !
Would you like to speak to the man in charge, or the woman who knows whats happening?0 -
Afternoon all
Two loads of washing today, it was outside for a couple of hours but then started to rain so it's draped round inside. Cold wind today too.
Made stew for dinner because I didn't have enough potatoes on their own for a meal. Used what I had with a few carrots, peas and onions. Tasted nice
I saw in the paper today that Tesco have energy saving lightbulbs at 5 for 40p so I got DD1 to get some while she was doing her shopping. They had trouble with them at the till (going through at full price = 5 for £5!) but they got it sorted. They're for DD2 when she moves out, I've already got spares.
That's about it.
Hope the meet goes well tomorrow.

ho hum
I have just cleaned out my make up bag - been on the back of my mind to do that for a while...washed the brushes and thrown away what must be old lotions and potions...was gonna post that some were priced 2/6 but think that joke will fall flat with all the youngsters...and I don't want [strike]my[/strike] Tom to think I am a wizened old hag...
Done the desk (pc has been half defragged too - one drive done 1 to go) vacuumed the stairs and if I do the dining room all will have been done.
I have even done some flinging - about 6 pairs of not very good scissors (I'll pop them in the blue bin with the tine for recycling) and loads of tatty pens and pencils stuck in a pot for ages and left there - not being used - 2 pencils seem to have been 'wombled' from Ikea? Why? basically tat left lying around gathering dust - ALL GONE!
But I have to go and buy my neice a grad present which will also be a flatwarming present and I have been pricing up pyrex casserole dishes -
and I want to investigate this quidco thing..
