Talking of courtesies this heffin teenager (with a very expensively dressed mother) trolling though my fave shop (B00ts) eating a very smelly snack tried to breeze through the door I held open for a dad pushing a double buggy with a third baby in a sling (all different sizes - looked like 2, 1 and newbornish) without a WORD. And without taking hold of the door (and I had 2 bags of shopping) so I let it go. [/strike]Air spare room in case BIL stays over - don't think this will be needed as he got spannered last night and will probably be nursing a large hangover rather than a big JD&C, chilli and Wii tournament here. His loss
DH is just perched up a ladder attempting to trim the back hedge without being blown away and is then skedaddling to help a friend out with a fence so think I can potter round mr A's alone (well that's slashed my shopping bill a bit).
Might venture an additional list this after been as I've done the other stuff
Extras:-
Clean bathroom
Clean loo
Last mag cull
1/2 hour slouch with :coffee: and book
Start organising my cross stitch stuff - it hasn't been touched for months but I want to find a Baby's 1st Xmas design for 3 friends and I KNOW I've got one somewhere - but there's a lot of somewhere to look

Can't make the meet this time, too skint to spend the fuel travelling so far this week as it's a few hundred miles. I think it would be seen as very anti MSE to do so, so I hope noone thinks I am being ignorant
Hope it goes very well however
Very very very windy here. Just helped one lady who stays here find her glasses that blew off her face, I spotted her looking around and noticed her glasses weren't on. Found them but took a while, her grandchildren were trying to help but she only has the younger ones with her and I was more worried they would trample on them.
Just had the other packet of that gastly dried risotto, suppose shows what I am like, I will eat most things if it's food and needs using even if it tastes yak, wouldn't have a hope DP doing that. He was going to come up to put the awning up but gale force winds which is rocking the caravan, I think it's a bad idea.
Going to take the boys down the pool in a mo, may aswell do something today, so far we've sat inside playing games and eating food, not healthy at allOne day I might be more organised...........

Of course we don't think you are being ignorant. Due to the nature of this place it is never going to be possible for us all to get together in one place. We shall just have to ensure that there are lots of flylady meet ups up and down the country so everyone can meet someone and get to know the faces behind the namesOfficial Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
-those of us who have changed them lately have picked peg themes:rotfl: :rotfl: Peggy Patch; peg earrings and peg bags (Cath Kidst0n no less) but you've just picked another (though very pretty) flower...
How's this one? It's a 'Peg-Monkey' :rotfl: Just typed in peg avatars and this came up... cute eh! Hello ladies
been absent for a few days (a little flying but no catching up) as getting DS ready to go away which he did this morning at 3.30  . Have been into town with DD this morning and now we ar e on the mega challenge, I have decided we are going in - her room is disgusting and I mean really bad. I have left it and left it thinking she will be shamed into doing it but she doesnt care but its starting to get toxic in there so needs must.
Will catch you later hopefully with before and after pictures
TTFNMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
WEll, the dreaded Mr T shop has been done. I'm beginning to hate that store more and more. All sorts of ditherers in there today blocking the aisles without a thought for anyone else etc. Just having yet another restorative cuppa then I'm going to Dyson the living room and spruce the bathroom up a bit ready for DiL's parents at 5pm.
Once that's done, I'll start on the presentation. I'm in danger of getting into polishing the paperclips syndrome if I don't start soon. It won't take long to do, I just need to find various bits of paper that are lurking somewhere and scan them in..... Ahhh me, wish I was a bit more organised with the filing..I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
