    Evening ladies

Done very little today but have got on top of a fair amount of paperwork.

Just watching the rerun of xfactor with the kids and then gordon cook along to watch.

Just going to see how the weekend pans out in terms of catching up or chilling out!

Soappie - I'm so glad you had a great time and I love your constant planning and looking forward to things.

I thought you were after Johnny Depp... but it seems it's just anyone that Valli shows an interest in :rotfl:

Ahh, but he's married and that's not allowed! And there's always Kiefer or Nicolas Cage if they're free (don't think Valli's mentioned them :p )

And you did say ages ago that there are no decent single men in Hants - I was just reminding people that the south could be a good place to run to :rotfl:

Right, need to read tonight's paper and sort out the pile of stuff on my table - oh, and make a drink!

Good point! Tom, I know you've promised to stay loyal to Valli, but if you've got any nice friends, can you send them down this way for me and Froddy please?? I've got a doughnut for you donut.gif !

The above lists were a collective Triker family effort, even OH joined in and it's his birthday.

All the above was done whilst grooving to Ian Dury and the Blockheads, The Specials and now The Stranglers.:D
Well done Clan Triker...like your taste in music ...I've had Stranglers along with other 80s stuff like Relax, ABC...

Toochoosey - does Valli know you're going to be that close to Tom? She might get suspicious!

cos I have got good taste - haven't I Tom?;)
Ahh, but he's married and that's not allowed! And there's always Kiefer or Nicolas Cage if they're free (don't think Valli's mentioned them :p )
I always though kiefer's dad (in his younger days, obviously, had the edge on Kiefer

and Charlie Sheen, Michael J. Fox (bless, hope he's well), Philip Glenister, Frank Lampard, Denzel Washington, Indiana Jones, Daniel Craig, David Tennant, Will Smith, Sanjeev Baskar...

So you can have ALL them...I'm sorted!

Anyhoo have taken DS and GF to hers, DD and DDs mate came so I dropped DDs mate off, nipped to Sainsbugs and found the reduced stuff... and got £5 off using nectar points:money: . Can't have any vino yet as have to go and pick DS up...but it's chilling nicely:cool: .
Came home, cleaned bedroom and landing - I can't vacuum stairs as they are on the party wall and they have a littley but that won't take long tomorrow...then it's the dining room and the hotspots...

have flung lots of stupid bits...tat that DS has acquired and doesn't want or need, and I think that has been one of the biggest effects of being a member of this thread...because I realised that it was just clutter, and it dragged me down moving things to clean round them...serious decluttering has been ongoing for a while now...so thanks Pigpen for the reminders. Have also offered my neice the perfectly functional but currently unused DVD player as DS got a playstation so no longer needs it...if she doesn't want it it is going to go...any ideas? I know I could freecycle it but I would rather it go to someone REALLY in need...would a women's refuge take it d'you think? Either for use there or for someone setting up on their own?

    BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!!

No weekend list.. I don't care if you can't function without one.. I am FORCING you to have the 2 days off.. start of half term for some and end of half term for others so a much needed couple of days off.. especially for me...

thankyou so much for this :D i was going to post that i wouldn't be doing much this weekend anyhow but know i don't need to feel bad about it :rotfl:
the plan is to write a list of absolutely everything i need to get done/bought before the wedding (3weeks tomorrow) and just work though it one at a time. i also intend to give every room a decent clean next week so i should be flying properly (well thats the theory).

    have a good evening all,
    Lou x

Valli - you'd gone so quiet I assumed you'd either rushed down to Cardiff to see Tom (leaving your light on as an alibi) or were tarting about on some other thread :D. Did my last PM get to you or has that gone AWOL two? I think I sent it yesterday.

BTW - I've just printed off details of the glass place ready for tomorrow. I'll check the measurements and make sure I take them with me!

Does anyone know where Toots is? She's been very quite for the last couple of days and I'm worried she might have overdone things trying to clear her bedroom... or have I missed something?

Flower - I keep forgetting to ask, how are you and your car after last week, and have you had any physio?

    Today I have done:

Oven, hob & kitchen surfaces wiped
DW filled & emptied (too cold to clean filter & re-fill!)
    TD filter cleaned
    Upstairs skirtings & windowsills wiped
    Bath, loo and basins cleaned
Windows opened and fresh air circulated

Tomorrow I have a whole lovely relaxing morning at the hairdresser... but I have to get there for 8.30

Soappie - I'm so glad you had a great time and I love your constant planning and looking forward to things.

Dusty - me planning it and you loving that planning are very different to the plans (or non-plans!) that actually coming to fruition! :(

But, maybe I'll get a BIG win on my premium bonds at the beginning of November and can see my ideal plans become reality - I can but live in hope :D

And thanks everyone else for the welcome homes xx

I'm still feeling sick but it still hasn't come to anything.

Thanks Pigpen for the lack of weekend list, i can catch up with the rest of the week without adding to it. I really need to do the bedrooms they're shocking.
