summermoon congratulations, are you moving area too?
Well we're here, ookinell it's cold! Heatings on full & we're all snuggled in our sleeping bags with fleeces on brrrr! Watching wire in the blood which has become a bit of a Friday thing then Al Murray (we've tried getting tickets for his tour, none anywhere) Take a while to warm this ice box up I think.Made myself a cupsoup thing to go with the sandwich I brought with me.
Pigpen anythin else I might be able to help with just ask, might not have any helpful ideas but might. I've never used www.cerebra.org.uk for grants but have supported them (asd diagnosis is in the criteria)
Dog got another hedgehog in the garden so were late leaving as I had to take it to the field & spray him. Berk! It was alive, he just plays with them, but highly annoying & the neighbours look at me funny when I am walking down the street with them
This evening = cuddle up & slob, no flying, just snuggling & stories for DS2DS1 too busy reading history books, I'm being nice, I'll make him do his homework tomorrow
One day I might be more organised...........

Thanks Flower... I've called them, and someone actually answered the phone!!! They're going to call me back later to arrange to come round and have a look.
Brilliant - are you near there then or do they travel?
Evening all... have had a !!!!!! afternoon - DS, my lovely, pain in the proverbial DS, has been suspended from college for 2 days (not on someone elses say so, but they had him on the security camera, various things, won't bore you with the details...) Basically, the H&S man came down to check out the college, and noticed DS straight away as doing things wrong, watched through the days videos and they had a record of him doing stuff as long as your arm.... WHY? we've just had all this, still not sunk in obviously...
He is at work now (is pot boy up our club) after I told him he was being chucked out of college instead of telling him he had been suspended (they have already chucked out 3 boys from his bit for similar behaviour), and that the school would probably expel him because of it, and that he would then have to go to the only other school around here which he hates... this got him really upset, so then I felt guilty and told him the truth, but now feel that I should have kept it going as he needs to learn a lesson - really don't know what to do with him... teenagers eh!
Sorry, moan over, basically that is my excuse for not flying today as I feel totally drained... Greenbee - I want you to know I have been working for hours on my elec/gas bills - I now know my total usage of both for the past 12 months, which rates I'm on - think I'll be ditching E7 so time to go compare.
I've missed my vocation in life - my new found passion for summonding family members to rooms to turn off light they have left on would have made me a great blackout warden. I'd have loved that power. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
If I say city centre can we gloss over the fact that I'm not sure, I think its west, but I could very easily be wrong (but don't let my mum see this). You?

The above lists were a collective Triker family effort, even OH joined in and it's his birthday.
All the above was done whilst grooving to Ian Dury and the Blockheads, The Specials and now The Stranglers.:D
Ohhh, my kind of music, I love Ian Dury and the Stranglers.... brings back my punk days (well, baby punk, I was only one for a while when I was 15 and never had the pink spiky hair!)

I'm between Basingstoke and Newbury, so I think I'm well within their area. I'm going to visit the glass place Valli found for me tomorrow too! If I can persuade myself that I like sewing, I should get quite a bit off the list this weekend.
Hope your DS sorts himself out. When you've calmed down, maybe you can talk to him about how he felt when he thought he'd been thrown out, and what he's going to do to make sure it doesn't happen.Dustykitten wrote: »Greenbee - I want you to know I have been working for hours on my elec/gas bills - I now know my total usage of both for the past 12 months, which rates I'm on - think I'll be ditching E7 so time to go compare.
You need to use about 30% of you elec. on E7 for it to work out better - it might be worth trying time switches for DW/WM/TD if you're only using a bit less than this. If you use oil to heat your water, I think (although I don't have up to date figures) that its worth using the immersion on E7 at night combined with an oil top-up if you need it on the day rate. However, I think that without storage heaters it probably doesn't stack up.Dustykitten wrote: »I've missed my vocation in life - my new found passion for summonding family members to rooms to turn off light they have left on would have made me a great blackout warden. I'm like that with the recycling bins at work at the moment... I can't believe that we manage to employ people too stupid to use them :rolleyes:0 -
Flower - I keep forgetting to ask, how are you and your car after last week, and have you had any physio?
Thanks greenbee, I'm fine at the mo... went to docs yesterday and he was a bit flippant about it all, but said I'm fine and carry on with the drugs if I need them, which I have stopped as although it aches a bit, it doesn't hurt and I'd rather not take them IYKWIM... Insurance called this week and they have put someone onto it and they are sending me to a 'place' soon to be checked out???
I know some of you will shout at me for this, but I hate the whole 'personal injury claim' thing. Don't get me wrong, my insurance are doing it and I know it's what everyone does, but as soon as I mention to anyone what happened, they all go 'oooh, whiplash, big claim...' as though that's all I've done it for, it makes you feel such a fake, and I would never use one of those claim companies they advertise on the TV, coz they just annoy me like the 'people who help you with your debts'... probably just me, and it's my opinion, not putting anyone down who has used them, they're there for a reason, but I just really hate the whole thing...
You know, I think I might be a bit PMT at the moment, bit stressed and upset, mainly over DS, aunt flo is visiting, no car, no money, being messed about by a few people, the house is a mess again even though it was lovely yesterday, and I just feel like carp..... :rotfl::rotfl: :rotfl: (that's hysterical laughter there...) think I need to get out...
Big thanks for the weekend off Pigpen, I think I need it...LBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0 -

Glad you got sorted - he worked at the Humbly Grove Gas Plant there for quite a few months - had to live away which it looks like he will be doing again as of 3rd Nov...
Yes, we did that - I ranted a bit about what had "happened", then he got upset so I told him the truth and he said why did you say that? so I explained that is what could have happened and that is exactly how he would feel if it did, so why was he trying to make something he hated happen? we then talked properly for quite a while and I think it really sunk in, trouble is, it often does but then he forgets, and it's half term next week, so it will be in one ear and out of the other,... we'll have to see...LBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0
