Which acc's can be opened directly online ?

Try FIRST SAVE,the rate was really good 6%when I opened an account,but three weeks later they dropped the rate down to 4.75%,as I am over 50 I am going to go with coventry at 6.6% I think it's worth the extra hassle and wait.

I opened an E-saver with Abbey online. No ID required (I assume they checked me on electoral register or something), but it took about 2.5 weeks for the three bits of separate logon info needed to access the account to arrive in the post.
