Fixed Rate Savings

I'm looking to deposit approx £5k into a fixed rate account, ideally for 12 months.
Looking at the best buy tables, I can only see ICICI at 7.2% and Anglo Irish at 7.05%.
I'd prefer at the moment to deposit into a UK bank, but the only decent fixed term accounts I can find are Halifax at 7% and Birmingham Midshires at 6.97%, but these are just for 6 months.
Are there currently any 12 month bonds offered by UK banks?

The only one on there is Julian Hodge Bank - does anybody know anything about them?Yes, but the rates are slightly lower, see http://www.moneyfacts.co.uk/savings/bestbuys/short-term-fixed-rate-bonds.aspx for example.0 -
I've had Cash ISAs with them over the years, they are FSA authorised, just like any other UK bank, signed up to the Banking Code, their phones are answered quickly, they even have a freephone number and I've always found their customer service to be excellent. The only one on there is Julian Hodge Bank - does anybody know anything about them?0 -
Looking again at the Moneyfacts table - Progressive BS has a 2 year bond at 6.6%, which seems quite attractive.0

Can be opened and funded immediately, by debit card, if they can verify your identity online.
