Hi, just spoken to Consumer Direct, the only problem with credit card refunds is that each ticket has to be over £100, so the card company may not want to help. Bad news for us too. £200 down the drain for a bad experience!!!

did they sell family tickets which over £100 because you could claim the money back but if they are all single tickets then no you can't.

Were they selling familty tickets?

Does anyone know if trading standards or similar (im not sure how it works) even visited the site prior to opening??

It's fantastic that the Echo have picked this up and running with it, and I'm very grateful, but I've just looked at the Echo's website, and a reader has commented that the Echo also ran a full-page advertisement for the Event today. PLEASE TELL ME THIS IS NOT TRUE SHEPHERDESS? SURELY ANY ADVERTISING SHOULD BE SUSPENDED (AT THE VERY LEAST).

Does anyone have any advice... We have tickets to this so called winter wonderland and want to find out how we can get a refund. Our credit card company are a little evasive. What rights do I have as it is obvious that this is one big scam.

OK so snowbusiness have emailed me back and included pictures of how it looked on Thursday - to be fair I would have been happy to find it looking like this - maybe ythe weather was to blame for this but my point is that I paid £135 so even if it rained (as it does very often in this country) it should have been an enjoyable experience.
Poor old snowbusiness!
