Yes I agree with you on mels4307 being the organiser, come on its rubbish you only have to look at the photos to see that.. It reminds me of something the dingles would do in Emmerdale.. LOL... Now do the decent thing and give people their money back..

Can I suggest that those affected also contact the likes of Sky News and BBC National news?
The BBC News website already has it, in fact at this moment it's the 2nd most read news item on the whole site (2nd only to 'Sterling plunges against dollar'!).

  • Are there any posters on here that could design a clever advert for this !!!!!! hole? If so, perhaps we could persuade an ad company to print it off and stick it on the side of a mobile hoarding or two. Parked strategically, im pretty certain we could warn yet to be conned punters to cut their losses and take their kiddies to Paultons or the Alice in Wonderland attractions instead? If my daughter were 12 months older than she is now, I would have already booked tickets for this 'unique attraction', and I have a rather dim view of people who take advantage of children.

This is such a cynical approach to fleecing people, it goes beyond pure 'farce' or incompetance. The people responsible for this scam are really rather clever people. Imagine taking your children there: (and sorry if you have already), seeing how bad it was, you might be forgiven for thinking you might cheer up your child(ren) by spending the extra tenner for them to meet Santa? My belief is, the 'organisers' knew this well in advance. Travellers site may just be the understatement of the year as far as childrens attractions and this place are concerned........

Anyone else think this was 'written' by the organiser?

    TTFN

    BFG

I just thanked 'him/her' for allowing the vast majority of the population to avoid the place. Clearly only a half wit would find this dump even mildly entertaining and value for money, and mels has just proven the point far more eloquently than I could put it with the written word.:rotfl:

    Hello

I really fancy taking our little one to this http://laplandnewforest.co.uk
But £30 per person is quite steep. Just wondering if anyone has seen anywhere we can find the tickets cheaper?

    TIA xxx

PLEASE DON'T GO - IT'S AWFUL, THE BBC ARE INVESTIGATING BECAUSE IT'S A SCAM - IT'S NOTHING LIKE ADVERTISED, WE HAVE WASTED £210 AS A FAMILY AND WAS SO DISAPOINTED X

I absolutely agree .. The whole thing was rubbish and a get rich quick scheme . I sincerely hope that this shameless farce gets closed and those responsible are prevented from profiting . I took my girlfriend and her two little girls and it seems I simply paid £100 to park and then try and keep two very disappointed children happy. I had a bad feeling when I arrived at 13.10 hrs and people were streaming away already. The elves all looked as though they didnt want to be there probably because everyone was complaining at them and I very much doubt that they were likely to be the big winners from this scam. The whole thing is a bit of a deception and last time I looked that was a criminal offence !

I agree too, it was TERRIBLE - Anyone with tickets, try and CANCEL THEM, it's nothing like advertised. The place should be CLOSED DOWN. Don't go. My children were so disapointed. i'm trying to stop others going through the same. DON'T DO IT - DON'T GO! X
  • Don't Go, Don't Go, Don't Go!!!!!!!!!!!!! Terrible, Terrible Place - Anyone Out There With Tickets - Do Your Best To Cancel.
It's Nothing Like Advertised, My Childred Were Soooo Disapointed.

Don't Waste Your Money. We Lost Over £200 On Our Family - Awful, Awful Day.

I pointed this and other facts out towards the top of this thread before most people booked tickets in the hope it'd save people from getting ripped off.

    Sadly I failed :(

I was very suspicious but obviously couldn't have directly accused the organisers of being unethical as I'd have been sued, along with this forum.

I now wish I'd spoken more loudly and for that I apologise. Sorry peeps!

I think it was your post that made me look into it , I checked the company out , and the site they were using and alarm bells rang so decided i would see how this year went before booking , so thanks for the heads up
  • Does anyone know how many tickets were sold?
  • no but we were told there were 3,000 people there on sunday & 1500 complaints to security by lunchtime. The security guard was embaressed to be associated with it & said it was nothing like the website he thought it looked like it had been organised by a bunch of travellers.I went to lapland uk last year which was a million times better. If you want a contrast just look at their website & their father xmas.Last year the price was the same as lapland new forest.
