Best Christmas song yet!
Please find enclosed my snow-covered invoice for £500,000 in respect of damages for wilful misuse of my honourable name / status.
Merry Christmas!

I would like to nominate a certain Mr Vic Mears as a person who is going to be sad, lonely, unloved and feeling the pinch this Christmas.
Send him a Christmas card - nothing rude or unsavoury - just cheap and tacky will do.
If you forget to post it - never mind. The thought was there.
Don't "forget" to put the stamp on, or he will get clobbered by Royal Mail to the tune of £1.28What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
...and to all a goodnight !!
I think our job here is done, so just to wish you all the very best for the upcoming festivities.
"GOD BLESS US, EVERY ONE"
... and definitely a Merry Christmas to you: that line of yours about "cats with antlers" remains one of the funniest I've ever read on MSE or anywhere else.**
In recognition of same, I've decided you can have the burger van for nowt.
** With Edna's Norfolk sugar beet "mountains" a close second!

Merry Christmas' to one all - even Vic who has learned something about Christmas spirit - I hope.
Yea, May the spirit of this holy time overcome the holy mess made by some people.
I have looked for a suitable Christams card for the gentlemen previously exposed in this forum, showing a beautiful snow covered nativity scene with donkeys, and if you look carefully you may see Mary and the Baby Jesus. Unfortunately the three kings had to cancel at the last minute and there were no wise men around this particular event. It will look good by Xmas though

Many thanks for the offer of the burger van. At least I will have some 'seasonal food' for Christmas........
As for Edna's sugar beet.. I'm sure we could do something with that. If we built a 'Great Wall' of sugar beet (well known as the only vegetable visible from space), covered it with that snow spray you buy in Woolworths (assuming Woolworths is still there) we would have a perfect backdrop to my disused car park.
Maybe even a personal appearance by Eddie The Eagle. You can't beat a real celebrity for pulling the [strike]mugs[/strike] customers in !0 -

Well I'd go for Bulpits idea (and which I postulated in the dim distant past of yesterday I think) and get a couple of cats, some clip on plastic antlers and some superglue. Oh, and a large box of band-aids. I'm trying to get the antlers on the cats now but it's not easy, they are more like Santa Claws (with a vengeance). Of course any use of this idea will be subject our normal copyright fee of 150,000 quid, up front, paypal only, no refunds etc etc.
If, on the other hand you need something to pull Santa's van (and if it's an old tranny it may be a good back up) there are a couple of miserable looking horses in a field near here (close to a load of caravans) that look ike they could do with a job for Xmas. You will have to ask the owners though.
What about hiring my fat white cat for a polar bear cub? He's distraught that he's had two performances cancelled and quite frankly I could do with a bit of income as I've had a few problems lately.
Oh, and what about that polystryene packaging for snow?
If it is an old tranny van, lifting the engine cover in the cab would gve you access to a built in bar-be-que for heating up that seasonal food.
Just some ideas - if you use them please forward the usual fee, or I'll send my Brothers round.

No need for a polar bear Edna,. There's one available in Brighton that you can see here

I must point out that any suggestion that this is actually Vic Mears, and explains why he hasn't been available over the past week, are totally scurrilous.0
