Hi,
According to HM Courts Service's XHIBIT the trial resumed this morning at Court 7 Bristol Crown Court. Google XHIBIT court list if you want to keep check.

According to XHIBIT at 1208 the judge is summing up, should be a verdict soon hopefully.

Looks like its finished for now - the jury was sent out yesterday afternoon to consider their verdict so perhaps we might hear something before the weekend.
Eight charges apparently.
I guess that *if* the jury finds them guilty of any of the charges, it will be a few months before any sentances are handed out. And no doubt there will be appeals, so it could drag on and on.0 -
It'll be interesting to see what the jury make of it all.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0

BBC News. Three more charges still to be considered,What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
Looks like they have been found guilty of all 8 charges.
Whats the betting they get off with just a trivial fine, and no sniff of a custodial sentance?0 -
Well in the cawse of one of these scumbags, there's always the health card to be played -- wasn't an earlier hearing dramatised by the appearance of a permanent invalid near to death's door?
Locking the boogers up is the only appropriate Justice here: they came, they scammed, they. . . Failed.0 -
I think it is good these got their desserts, but one beggers at those who were to part with their monies so easily in the name of greed in this festival of exploitation in the first place.0

I often have trouble understanding what you write. This latest contribution of yours is no exception.
If by your reference to "those who were to part with their monies so easily in the name of greed in this festival of exploitation" you mean the independent suppliers conned into participation by the organisers, then there's nothing "greedy" about a bloke with a hot dog stall wanting to pay money to rent a site at a public event.
If, however, you're attempting to say that parents and grandparents were stupid to believe -- on the basis of extensive regional advertising, and a highly persuasive website -- that this was a genuine attraction, and a genuine treat for little children, then you couldn't be more wrong: they weren't parting with their hard-earned money out of greed; they were doing so out of love for their kids and grandkids.
They were victims of a deliberate scam. Not architects of their own misfortune.
