    Hey I-A.

You've split with Ste? I have to admit I missed that! Sorry to hear it.

Good luck with the band practice.

    30 hours a week? Nice.

One of my bosses told me and a colleague off for doing too much overtime, saying it would burn us out. I was on 50 hours overtime that month (juicy paycheck time) and my colleague was on 60. My boss did 100 hours overtime that very month. Pot, kettle, black anyone?

I once worked with someone who did 120 hours overtime in a month. There was as much as anyone wanted and she just worked all hours.

Sar - good luck. I think you'll be fine. Might be a bit awkward but remember it's about the music ;)

My boss is also salaried which was part of what surprised me. He didn't get paid for all that overtime! Personally I come into work to get paid.

It has to be said that he's a bl00dy good engineer, though, and the fact that we've got so much work at the moment is partly down to him.

oh god, I've just felt my stomach flip.

I've just read that the apartments we are due to stay in are closed until further notice from 31/10 due to problems with the heating and in the split second I read it, I couldn't remember when we were going (22/10!!) I just saw 'closed until further notice' and it all went a bit bleurgh for a second!

Should be ok though, it's still 21-22C during the day and 9 or 10C at night, not exactly freezing.
