    morning all.

Sally - just caught up with last night - the flight lands at Girona (although it is Barcelona Girona airport) and if you want a 'town' to stay in, Girona has some lovely old architecture. Barcelona is just under an hour away by bus and is a fantastic city to visit. Stay away from Las Ramblas for hotels and cafes etc as they are MEGA expensive. If you want the beach, there is a bus service down the coast, google Lloret, Calella, Malgrat or Santa Susanna to give you the list of places along the coast. There's a train line as well which runs along the beach into Barcelona.

I've pulled out my bag to pack tomorrow or Tuesday. My suitcase was mauled on the way back last time so I'm going to use the wheeled holdall I have instead, which should be fine - I'll just have to be very selective about what I take!

I'm also feeling really cagey at the moment. Must be something in the water.

Morning, I have been shamefully neglecting my MSE duties lately :( and should be thoroughly spanked.
I may continue to be in and out for a bit because I might need surgery, I will know more when I see the Consultant on Tuesday.....Wish me luck!

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.

    Thanks Lou!

Not feeling like myself lately - We had a great time at Center Parcs last weekend though, great weather and very cute red squirrels.
I've put lots of pics up on my Facebook page

Squirrels are lovely to watch. I have heard good things about Centre Parcs but they are a bit pricey I gather.

It seems like alot of us here on DFW are having a tough time of things at the moment with one thing or another.

We just need to be here for each other I guess for a bit of friendly support and a laugh when we need one.

You must be worried about potential surgery Linda.

Morning all, I'm working for a few hours today :j Still really need a steady income, going to have to keep an eye on AQA and the like applications as that would be perfect for me.

  • nice to see you around Linda - hope all goes well with the appointment and the photos you have posted are fab xx

I'm back and I've stuck the SC on for dinner and the BM on to make a loaf. I was going to buy a loaf and I thought how slack I was getting when I have the ingredients in the house. I am getting slack, which is a concern but I just need to slap myself around thehead a bit I think.

Edit: Also just done a batch of Twink's hobnobs, so that's my OS contribution to the day well and truly covered!
