To be honest, I suppose it was my decision, although it wasn't a decision I really ever wanted to make.
Think I may be joining you in the wine drinking once the kids are in bed BB."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
I have alcohol.........good old One Stop.........
A bottle of ready mixed peach schnapps, vodka with cranberry and raspberry juice caught my eye.......so I threw caution to the wind and bought it. 50cl rather than 75cl in a bottle of wine and a bit of an expensive £5 odd, but to hell with it. I've been mega OS today with 2 loaves of bread, mince potatoes and veggies in the SC, twink's hobnobs and I'm even making the giant Yorkshire puddings from scratch so I deserve something 'ready made'! :rotfl:"Stay Wonky":D

oooh, my poor sister.
Ihaven't said anything on here because I didn't want to jeopardise her position, but she works as a mortgage arranger in a bank and some money went missing. She was the last to handle it so they accused her of theft and sacked her. This was in August and she's been in bits, understandably, was having panic attacks and has been on anti-depressants since. Anway, she had her appeal hearing last week and they admitted they had made a 'big mistake' and have re-instated her (too bloody right it was a big fuffing mistake, there was tonnes of evidence to prove it was nothing to do with her) and she is tenatively re-starting work this week.
She's just got home - and has been burgled - again...........:(
Her mobile phone was taken so I've sent the thieves a really $hitty text saying exactly what I want to happen to their genital area."Stay Wonky":D

bloody hell BB. I'd tell her to tell them to shove their job and sue them for unfair dismissal! barstools!!!!! Starting to think we may need a "newly single and need a rant/cry/scream" thread there have been so many of us lately. tis sad, definately, but sometimes we need to move apart to grow as people, I am sure that many of us fall into this category. hugs to everyone that needs them today. P xxxdebt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0

Oh the poor woman, what a run of bad luck. Good that they finally admitted to the mistake but how terrible to have to go through that experience.
Not many people having a smooth time with things lately:oBut these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
she is still going to put in a claim for wrongful dismissal even though she is going back. It's going to be really hard for her to get back the trust etc at her branch. She's re-starting at another branch to get back into it and is hoping to go to one permanently nearer her daughter's school rather than the one she is at.
Unfortunately, where she lives (Grimsby) doesn't have an abundance of jobs at the best of times so she couldn't afford not to take it back.
The union had said if it went to a tribunal she would have been looking at a really huge payout for wrongful dismissal/loss of career etc. She had been planning to look to move to Canada with her daughter as a Business Manager with the same bank so hopefully at some point she can still do that and escape Grimsby"Stay Wonky":D
