im using firefox so might be something to do with that

can anyone talk me through a screen grab - ive pressed print sc but it wont paste into paint or word ??
I always paste into paint by:

    Pressing 'Print Screen'
    Opening Paint
Selecting Edit on the top toolbar
Selecting Paste on the dropdown menu
    then the screengrab appears.

If all else fails, do you have a camera so you can take a picture? :D

  • Is the print screen on it's own button or is it like a secondary function on the button? eg, on mine 'print screen' is the blue function of the 'insert' button, so I'd have to click on the blue 'fn' button to make the print screen work

Try pressing 'ctrl + v' in paint or word instead in case it's something to do with the paste function.

Oh :( I really feel for you, I know I'd be the same if it was me!

Just take every bit of info you can, and also make a note of your IP address so that you can send them that too.

    Good luck!

On some keyboards - mine for instance - you have to press the 'fn' key and the 'prt scr' key (which in my case is also the 'insert' key).
