Ok, I know I posted this order, but now I am confused.
Received my first T-Mobile bill today was £35.13 (1 month and 1 day + itemsied billing)
Relax 200 is £32.00 a month
According to the carphonewarehouse Terms and conditions, the network contribution is £96 over the first 3 months and this "value will be automatically amended to your bill over this period. You do not need to send anything in to receive this amount."
I phoned T-mobile and they said they don't this kind of thing unless a deposit is paid, and when I phoned CPW they haven't updated their systems yet, so they can't help me !!!
Am I right in thinking that my first 3 months should be 0.00 ?0 -
That's how I interpreted it - but my bill shows the same as yours. I think CPW messed this up anyhow and withdrew the offer. They better stick to the T+C ...
Keep us posted and I'll chase them too.0 -
they did mess the offer up, the offer should have been an 18 month contract - where months 1-3 and 16-18 were half price (thus the £96 network contribution) - the 12 month contract has no network offer. since you have the contracts CPW will have to pay the extra £96 as cashback0
-
if your not too bothered about the minutes and mainly want the phone, onestopphoneshop has it on 1000 minutes off peak, £20 per month, 9 months free line. so £60 for the year minus £20 from quidco = £40 phone but rubbish minutes0

It might be £60 more but I'm pretty sure most networks (Orange included - correct me if I'm wrong) will let you change your tariff after 3 or 6 months of the contract. After qualifying for all the cashback drop the tariff to the lowest possible!0 -
I think they know that though, as most cashback schemes final qualifying payment is made on the 12th month airtime bill, so you pay for all 12 months before u get all the cashback.
as a seperate issue, what do you people do at the end of the 12 months? cancel and get another 'deal' or can you haggle another similar offer and keep same number etc?0 -
Most of us will cancel and port a number over - but the good deals are getting harder to find these days.0

Update.
After I rang them, and they told me to contact them in January when the site is updated, I emailed them. Got a reply on Friday saying,
"Please be advised that you should have received your £96.00 within the first 60 days in the form of a credit that is added to your account to come of call expenses or line rental charges. As confirmed previously you may obtain the other redemption offers by sending in your invoices."
The guy also said he would be happy to investigate the matter further if I wished, which of course I did !
Today I got another email, and I had to send them the terms and conditions for goodness sake !!
"I am sorry to inform you that I am unable to locate the redemption offer for your pay monthly T-Mobile contract. If you ave been advised different at the time of purchase please reply to this email with your agreement and Terms and Conditions attached. This will assist me in investigating your query."
Hope they can look into it properly now ! :rolleyes:0 -
Had a letter this morning apologising for an error on the website. There will be no £96 credit from T-Mobile. However ....
The cashback is now increased to £93.03 in month 4,8,12.
The £31.01 will be credited as before within 60 days.
At least they sorted it.0 -
Yep, got one too !
Finally !0
