I Sold an Item SNAD but Can't Find it in The Dispute Console

I sold a pair of jeans but listed them as 34" leg when they are a 32" leg. My fault entirely. The first I hear about this is when buyer opens a Significantly not as Described Dispute. I have messaged him to apologise for the mistake and to send the jeans back for a full refund. Trouble is, I can't find the dispute in the dispute console. I follow the instructions but it just says "There are no disputes to display in this view for the selected time period. Disputes may display in this view for 90 days."

1. Is this normal ebay/paypal lag?

2. When/if the jeans are returned do I refund or let Paypal pay him with the money they have confiscated from me?

3. Hyperthetically speaking, if I refused to accept the item from Royal Mail would the claim expire and my money get returned?

Thanking you.

    1. Thanks for nothing.

    2. Thanks, but what then happens to the confiscated monies. I don't want him paying twice.

    3. Derek Acorah helps with my thought processes. All I want from you is a straight answer.

    1. Are you sure the dispute has been opened, or has the buyer just told you?
    2. A payment can only be refunded once.
    3. See post 2.

    1. Yes I'm sure the dispute has been opened, yes the buyer has also told me.

    2. Who refunds the buyer "once"..... me or Paypal?

    3. See post 3.

By the way you're not going to get your required 'straight answer' for 3 here, at least not the answer you want, from anyone with any honesty.

Your mistake. You readily admit it, so don't try to screw anyone around unless you want your ebay record ruined.

you should be paying return postage aswell as it was not the buyers fault you made a mistake in the listing

At 4.27pm you were struggling to grasp my thought process. Less than an hour later, you've accused me, tried me and found me guilty of fraud. Well done, you.

Thank you for a straight and sensible reply. Utterly irrelevant to what I was asking, but a breath of fresh air nonetheless.

I believe I am not obliged to refund return postage, but you are 100% correct and I will ensure the buyer gets his just desserts, so to speak.
